Did anyone else know there is an outdoor AHL game? I didn't know. Apparently the Hershey/Adirondack one has sold 40,000+ tickets.

Yup Toronto Marlies vs. Hamilton Bulldogs at Ivor Wynne in Hamilton.

I'm going to it with a few buddies near the end of this month. :)

edit: Oh seems they're doing a couple of them.
 
To clear up #Habs practice mishap: Cammy and Subban arguing at practice. Pleks exchanges blows w/ Subban. Gorges gets in middle to break up.

Do you go to many AHL games? When I'm at school I live in a city with a team but I've only been to one.

They said here Carl Hagelin had played a outside one for Michigan in front of 108 000, but I must've heard wrong.

When Hagelin played at Camp Randall, it was in front of 55,031 fans. Against the Spartans at Michigan Stadium, there were 113,411 announced fans packed into the stadium, a record for attendance at a hockey game.

Yep, this season makes me so sad. Cammy and Subban both like to yap so I'm not surprised they are arguing. The vets bitching about Subban pisses me off. They need to look at their own performance this year.

I haven't been to a Marlies game in years. It'll be interesting I'm sure, I'm trying to convince some of my friends to go with me to more Marlies games (since we can't go to a ton of Leafs games)

I'm in the same boat with the Providence team. Not the sexiest option, but still a great brand of hockey.
 
I was just at a WHL game a few days ago. Moose Jaw Warriors vs. the Edmonton Oil Kings. It was a very good game with a late goal to tie the game 3-3 and shootout. Very inexpensive and good hockey.

I've been to one Marlies game, and it was for free, and I got free beer. Good times all around. I would go again if I had the time since it's cheap as hell.

There are Canadians that believe themselves to be superior to Americans, and I've met a lot of them and it truly annoys me. Had a guy spend a good 15 minutes talking to me at work about how Americans are terrible and Canadians are so much better, and I ended up just walking away. He tried to backtrack and say "I ain't trying to say Americans are bad, but yeah."

National sporting events really bring the best and worst out of our respective countries.

Apparently Cammy told the coaching staff he wants to play with desharnais instead of pleky basically implying he's hindering his play, he really needs to stfu and do his job.

Dunno man, with Dupuis gone I don't see anyone else he could really play over unless there's an injury.

It's not like we even need a fighter. It's not like we're getting bullied every game.

I don't recall any booing of the US national anthem at the wjs.. Although I am not sure it was ever played this year.. :/

I guess the difference is you are actually booing Americans.. not two teams who likely have more Canadians than anything else. DERP DERP
 
Pretty cool to score your first NHL goal at the winter classic. Rangers are lucky it's not 3-0.
