The Flyers used to wear those once upon a time. They looked dumb as hell then, too.
Holtby game prep.
I could use a better routine. I get to the rink within an hour, minimal stretching and then get on the ice during the 3 minute count down. Normally I am fairly good at shrugging off goals.
Last game was another story. We got bodied 7-1, and I cracked my stick on the net. And then swung for the pipe again and my stick flew into the corner of the ice. Aaand because a ref was skating by they debated a misconduct call because they thought I threw it at him.
Also, Holtby has a stupid pant size.

Backstrom has been pretty good in his career. Until Yeo ran him dry playing him like 25 games out of 30 down the stretch two years back. Dude is like 35 he can't handle that.
I hope he does well in Calgary. Seems like he's a nice guy.

Nicklas Treutle, the goaltender the coyotes called up to play against the Ducks and who gave up 5 goals on 16 shots was sent back down. Poor guy. If that's his only taste of the NHL it would be a bummer.

Yeah kinda. Had some Amazon digital credit that was going to expire and I was seeing what they had. Cloverfield was only like $5 so I thought might as well.

I haven't seen Cloverfield in years, probably in 5-6 years now.
The first time I watched it, I remember the reports of people getting motion sickness because of the shaking camera, and I just dismissed it. When I actually watched it, I did feel a bit nauseous midway through, and had to look away for a moment just to readjust.

I actually just re-watched this a couple of weeks ago after seeing the trailer for the new may or may not be related movie.
It really is great, and I laughed when I realized T. J. Miller (Silicon Valley) was the guy holding the camera the entire movie.
