I rush over here and see no sports threads what so ever. I thought it finally happened they banned all sports at GAF, but then I found this but augh.

I think we were moved all thanks to the Wings losing to Columbus on national TV, that is the only explanation I can think of.

Too inclusive and not very welcoming to outsiders. That's the worst part.
NHL-age was only inclusive because we're the least popular sport of the Big 4, NOT because we're a tight-knit community. Fuck I'd say we're the FRIENDLIEST of them all, what with Canadian roots and all.

Patrick Roy is an old school player/coach with an old school mentality. The game has changed and this team needs to get out of this old school mentality. We need a coach that understands today's game. I think his ego would get the better of him.

No. What I meant by my post is that they need to stop hiring ex-Canadiens players as coaches, GM's, special advisories, etc...

You're right. Paying underachieving Connolly clone Ville Leino instead of Connolly himself is the reason why the Sabres have had such a successful season.
