The Rangers are now 160-1-9 in their last 170 games in which they lead after two periods. Or, if you prefer, 65-0-3 in their last 68 such games.

The Rangers' 12 wins is the most in franchise history through 16 games. Their 26 points through 16 games ties a franchise record with the 1971-72 season (11-1-4).

Tonight's win means Henrik Lundqvist has now finally defeated every other team in the NHL at Madison Square Garden.

Not sure what Chiarot was doing calling for that puck and that probably should have been a slashing call, but I'll take it.

Thanks for beating Nashville for us Toronto.

So now Dallas and Nashville have both lost to the Maple Tanks. Should I expect Minnesota, St. Louis and Chicago to lose to TO as well?

Can we force it to OT at least? Can New Jersey do us a solid as well?
