Well, the league is going to continue cracking down on anything that can or will cause concussions. Fighting is a no brainer and an easy target. I agree that fighting still needs to be an option on the ice. We can't let rats go wild without someone out there without policing their stupidity.
Only if we go for dinner after, I don't fight just anyone.
They should start by cracking down on all those chimps in the league looking to start shit for no reason, and work on stopping fights after clean checks and hits.

I think its alright, but they are calling it when players are too close to the icing line
With the lack of times I have seen a player successfully get the puck in 3 games... It probably should be no touch and just avoid everything anyways

I think if they really wanted to deal with the issue outright, just go with no-touch icing. The game doesn't need more calls that could go either way.
I get the feeling the players will reject the hybrid icing. Just a feeling.
