Bruins must be looking forward to 2017-18 at this point. Savard, Kelly, and Smith will be off the books. Seidenberg and Chara will be in the last year of their deals and Rask will be easier to trade (NMC changes to NTC), clearing the way for Subban.

Bergeron and Krejci will be 31 and hopefully have some good years left in them. (I wouldn't be suprised if Krejci was traded at some point )

Basically its going to take two years to fix what Chiarelli screwed up.
