beautiful nite leafs clinchin 4th pick
actually finish in last but with more points than last year, with a shitshow ahl roster. dat babcock
all dem tank ruining points nylander put up can now be looked upon fondly, didn't matter we still got that 30 gotta love it
this is crazy to me:
The Leafs actually finished with a better record than Edmonton, Vancouver, Montreal and Winnipeg since Nov. 1. That brutal October was huge.
since november is what shocked me, the whole season except the first month
man, god bless bernier's awful october
this summer is going to be extremely interesting actually, and man i'm looking forward to next season even tho we're far off from being a playoff team. just so curious to see what the roster looks like. what will they do as far free agents. zaitsev? etc. who will willie's linemates be, like will jvr be on it or w/e. will they have a center that it makes sense to put willie on his wing to ease him into the nhl like most players do. all dem picks. are they actually going to try to actually be good, or will they not try too much to improve the roster at least another year. i think that question will be answered if they get a decent goalie, pouncing on a young goalie if one was somehow available is a no-brainer, but would they try to acquire some decent 29 year old goalie. i would prefer they not actually try to compete too much next year as far as signing older players etc., i'd prefer another top 8ish pick.
eeeh, interestin tymez tho
