This is getting embarassing... way too many turnovers. This game would be over 5 minutes ago if it wasn't for Vasilevsky.

Unless this is just a case of a bad game, this series is over for Tampa. They didn't have an answer for Pittsburgh's speed last game and they have been heavily outmatched the last 30 minutes of the game.

Pens deserve a goddamn goal, but this feels like one of the bullshit games against the Habs in 2010 that the Pens dominated but were stifled by Halak.

Anything can happen. A bad bounce or nervous play by Murray, and boom, Vasi steals one. Happens all the time in the playoffs.

Surprised Tampa hasn't taken a penalty with the Pens skating circles around them in the offensive zone. All this zone time doesn't mean much without a goal, though.

While that's definitely true, steal one or not, Pittsburgh is downright dominating them. I'm not sure they have an answer for this forcheck. It doesn't help when Tampa is hurting themselves with the turnovers either.

They need to get some good shifts going, other than the initial push, the ice is tilted.

The Pens' 3rd line is carrying them these playoffs. Amazing. And Kessel has 3 more points than Crosby and leads the Pens in scoring. Phil Kessel.

Most star players get hated on.

The only thing that silences the haters is hardware. (and that only really works for a short time any way.)

Spending the bulk of his career on the Toronto Maple Leafs means he didn't get a fair chance to build up his hockey resume enough to silence the critics.

So, do the floodgates open for the Pens in the third, or do the Lightning come out swinging and take back the momentum? Love a fresh period during playoff time. A good period like that second by the Pens can quickly be wiped out.
