If there was one lesson to be learned from this, its not to interject yourself into something uneccessarily. Katy really should not have bothered getting her jab in especially when the tweet was so lazily made.

But even then, I still think Taylor has a point. She didn't want the selections of an award show (that she doesn't control) to foster hostile feelings between two artists/women. Taylor was personally attacked in regards to her body type because she was nominated for an award.

Katy has a point I suppose. But Taylor is arguing that external factors such as judges in award shows should not foster 'bad blood' between two women artists.
Taylor is capitalizing on a "diss" track, yes. But its not because Taylor is mad over uncontrollable circumstances like an award ceremony nomination. Taylor is mad about something Katy did. Something about backup dancers I believe. So it seems fair game to take issue with someone whom you believe directly slighted you vs. taking issue with someone over something they don't control.

Yeah because Nicki is far less likeable. Excessive profanity and hyper sexualization is going to make others think differently of you. People are judged by their music. Taylor Swift largely sings about love and heart break and doesn't use profanity or a lot of sex appeal. So yeah, its no surprise Nicki Minaj doesn't get treated like America's sweetheart. She doesn't deserve it.
