Lacks charm. This needed the Splatoon/Arms treatment with appealing characters and a vibrant world. This will be like that submarine game on 3DS.

Reviving this DOA thread to make a random prediction that I couldn't figure out where else to post: I think Nintendo is going to shadowdrop this game during their June Direct.
We already know that this is a digital-only title, and that it's coming out during the summer. Plus, Nintendo has been giving it a lot of promotion recently (including gameplay highlights on the Nintendo Today app), so why don't we have a release date yet?
I think it's because Nintendo knows that it's going to be a hard sell and want to capitalize on the hype of the first post-launch Switch 2 Direct to score as many impulse purchases as possible.
The joy on did not work like the Wiimote did, and it resulted in a poor product.
I don't know, did you play it? It was not as fun. The controls did not seem as good. Similar to how Xbox One Kinect was no where near as fun as Xbox 360 Kinect, despite being more advanced.huh? why? the Joycons have superior motion controls compared to the normal Wii Remote.
they should make it part of the NSO subscription, so that they have a guaranteed playerbase
Preorders are up on the eShop, at least they only want $20 for it.
