I have a theory that Nintendo has started developing games that look awful and no one wants (like the Switch 2 Welcome Tour), just so their other games look even better by comparison. It's kind of like how every good friend group has the one ugly friend there to make everyone else look better.

It looks like a mini game from Fusion Frenzy that was scrapped for being too retarded.

This, and I think the game is taking bullets because the rest of the industry has gone hard and so stupid on virtue signaling wrt disabled. Like the WOW wizard rolling around in a ghost wheelchair.

Nah, Nintendo have released their share of critical bombs. Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival, for example, has a 46 on Metacritic.
I'm curious about this too. I'd like to know if this was the Switch Sports team, because the Nintendo codename implied that they were working on a new sports-related title and I wonder if it was this or if Switch Sports 2/Switch 2 Sports is coming.
