Nintendo Downloads - June 2015

i knew it

You know seeing operation L in Dr. Mario Miracle Cure makes me even more annoyed I purchased Dr. Luigi, as that was the only reason I got it (that and getting another NNP voucher). Though operation L kind of sucks because they lower the number of viruses on screen which makes the game way easier.

I wonder if the Dr. Luigi BGM is included though...

The Dr. Mario Pre-load is so weird. With it being more of a smaller download-only release, I really wonder why they didn't just release the game today. It doesn't even take up that much space.

I suppose, from now on, we'll see every first party game getting the preload option, wheter it's retail or a digital only title.

^ KITTY!

Also, dev related. But Finally! Finally got good news. My game's long-awaited patch (1.2) is finally approved. It improves the game so much, esp with the biggest thing for me not being the new 4 maps, new game mode, new bots, new enemies, online leaderboard or miiverse. But actually change to 60 FPS stable gameplay.

(submitting the EU version again in a few days)

I was wondering if you had a plush of your own! XD

Anywho, well guys, two hours and the secret Humble Nindie Bundle games will be out, any last minute predictions?

And as a reminder, the games from the eShop lists are NOT it, not officially anyway, since Retro City Rampage DX is in the 3DS list and the dev popped up on reddit to confirm the game is NOT part of the bundle.

So yeah, it's a secret to everyone!

I'm expecting the rest of Moon Chronicles.

Was there any word about Story of Seasons getting an EU release? Even eShop exclusive would be okay at this point.

Free Gunman Clive (3DS) code, it was in the Humble Bundle but I already have it. Don't feel like setting up a ModBot giveaway, quote to reveal and please respond if you do take it.

Cool, redeemed it. Thanks for donating it. Maybe if I like this, I'll look into the sequel.

You totally should the sequel is far better. There's a bit more variety in gameplay and there's dinosaurs and panda.

Word. GC was great and everyone loved it because it was so reasonably priced at a time where similarly priced stuff on the eShop was mostly junk. GC2 is legit one of the best games on the eShop, regardless of price.

Yeah, so far, GC is a very nice "break" game. Only a few spots I was like "oh come on, that was a bit unfair to expect the first time playing", but it's still a rather fun platformer. I'll have to give the sequel a look at.

GC & it's sequel are really great

You're talking about Gunman Clive? I agree that they were fun. The second game has some tricky platforming too. That could either be a good or a bad thing, depending on your perspective. I think they're good for games made by mainly one person, and the price is right...they're super cheap.

HOLY CRAP, JAPAN GETS MARIO & LUIGI NEXT WEeeehhhhhh it's Partners in Time, interest pretty much gone.

I'm actually in need of a copy of PiT so this is good news. Maybe it'll be up in the not too distant future.

Still waiting for them to release a DS game on VC that I don't own already/actually want to play. I came close to biting the bullet on WarioWare but I decided against it. That's not to say I haven't gotten any VC games that I didn't own already, I definitely have, but none of the DS offerings are making me bite. Probably has to do with the two screen setup and how awkward I think that it for a lot of games on anything other than a real DS, I dunno.

PiT is good but I don't see myself buying that one either. I can't imagine it won't release over here pretty soon, has there been a whole lot of delay between Japan and the West when it comes to DS VC yet?
it will absolutely happen eventually but is that happening now? lol

Who I have to beg for this theme being released in the West?

I asked Sega about those hardware themes about 3 weeks ago & they said that "the hardware themes are trickier due to the differences per territory, licensing, etc. Looking into them, but nothing confirmed."

I would love to get a bundle of them all & put them on the Favorites to rotate through theme....or get the Saturn one for SUPER SONIC RACING.

I don't get the Partners in Time-hate. For me it's the second best M&L-game after Bowsers Inside Story. But it was my first M&L-game so maybe I just have a different perspective on it.

I don't know, for some reason, it just didn't "click" with me. It didn't help that the boss battles felt like they draaaagggeeedd, & this is coming from someone who usually tries to fight all the enemies to stay leveled up and be prepared.

But seriously, that final boss battle literally took me 30+ minutes, I remember looking at the clock & questioning when the hell the damn thing was gonna end.

I think the writing took a dive compared to the previous game which I just enjoyed so much. Which is a shame, because the gameplay itself honestly isn't terrible by any means, but that's really the only thing I remember about the game. I just remember the evil purple....shroom things and the tedious boss battles, and that's it.

At least with the others, I can remember more specific moments/characters.

I for one am excited we're 24 hours from Adventures of Pip. If Kickstarter backers get it a little early I'll try to post impressions, but I'm planning on drinking a whole bunch of ciders tonight so no promises.

I just want my 3ds to say "SEGAAAA" when I boot up a game ...

Okay, guys, I definitely need some sort of storage after that Humble Bundle for my WiiU. Less space and not needing a power space, and DEFINITELY price are important. Don't feel like I need a ton. Right now I just need space for Metroid Prime Trilogy and some odds and ends. Not expecting to buy a ton of WiiU or Wii games digitally in the future, though there are a HANDFUL of Wii games I still need that I'd thus consider. Definitely not too many though. So I don't think I need anything huge, but I'd like some space to grow into if need be.

Sub $50 would be ideal if that's possible.

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give!

Looks like NintendoEverything.com is running a contest if anyone wants to try for a copy.

I have my Metroid Prime and some downloaded videos on a USB key, since they're basically read only. Metroid Prime save data is on the console. Nintendo doesn't recommend this setup but it's pretty fail-safe, low-risk and definitely under $50.

How did you do it, since it's all grouped? You copied the group, deleted the game (not the save file) on the console, then deleted the save file on the key? Is that possible?
