March 21, 2013

This week's Nintendo Download includes the following featured content:

Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS™
Luigi's Mansion™: Dark Moon – Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is the sequel to the original fan-favorite Luigi's Mansion on Nintendo GameCube™. In this game, there are multiple mansions, each with unique puzzles and ghosts. Using the Poltergust 5000, a ghost-capturing vacuum cleaner, Luigi™ must explore and hunt ghosts in these mansions to complete specific missions and help recover the lost pieces of the Dark Moon. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will be available in retail stores and in the Nintendo eShop on March 24.

Pokémon™ Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity – Infinite Mystery Dungeons await you and your Pokémon friends on your quest to stop the forces that threaten Pokémon Paradise. You play as Pikachu™, Snivy™, Oshawott™, Tepig™ or Axew™, and talk with other Pokémon as you explore the infinite possibilities of Mystery Dungeons that change each time you enter. You can use the Nintendo 3DS camera to discover Magnagates in the real world that lead to new Mystery Dungeons, or play with up to three other people and explore Mystery Dungeons together in Companion Mode. (Additional systems and copies of the game are required for multiplayer mode. Sold separately.) Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity will be available in retail stores and in the Nintendo eShop on March 24.

Nintendo eShop on Wii U™
Zen Pinball 2 – Zen Pinball 2 is your home for nonstop pinball action. Featuring an exciting lineup of pinball tables, including Marvel Pinball™ and Plants vs. Zombies™ pinball, as well as a collection of original designs, there is a table for everyone. You can even demo all tables before you decide to buy.

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles weekly to the Nintendo eShop for the Wii U system as well as the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL systems, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos. Users can add money to their account balance by using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card. All funds from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii U eShop or the Nintendo 3DS eShop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.
Zen Pinball 2 is what I want the most.

Well shit. All this time I thought HarmoKnight was releasing today. :( It is interesting to see AoF3 hit the VC though. After we've all moved on it seems the service is getting more consistent updates than in the past.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Zen Pinball 2 and Mutant Mudds for me.

Not cool that the 3ds eShop sale ends with Mutant Mudds. Nintendo should keep on going. So many other games that they could discount for a week. Why not continue the promotion by having two games on sale each week instead of one? =/

That being said, I'll be getting Mutant Mudds today. Ketzal's Corridor is pretty cool!

Mutant Mudds will finally be mine :)

Also would like to mention that I suck at Crashmo. Just putting that out there. I find it much harder than Pushmo (which I have completed every puzzle except for the very last tier). I actually got stumped on the first Crashmo puzzle! Still have yet to solve it, actually. Anyone else find this game extremely difficult?? Maybe my brain just doesn't work well with 3d spaces and physics and whatnot, perhaps may be why it is taking me a while to improve my skill at Ketzal's Corridors too.

I think this is the latest the UK shop has ever been updated. Where's mah Harmoknight demo?!

Edit: 14:42 - Seriously, hurry the fuck up Nintendo!

Will QA for food.
I was hoping MonHan transfer tool would be mentioned in the release. Oh well. Pokedex 3DS finally be discounted is tempting because I am a PokeWhore.

blu

Wants the largest console games publisher to avoid Nintendo's platforms.
Nintendo lifts the daytime access restriction of 18+ content?! What is this world coming to...

So how is the pricing structure of zen pinball 2? Are the tables all different prices, are they separate or in bundles of 2 or 3? And, most importantly, can you buy the Plants vs Zombies table separately, because that's the one I want lol ;)

Can't wait to get home and try out some Zen Pinball 2 on the Game Pad. Probably gonna pick up Plants vs Zombies and maybe a Marvel table or two. The Plants vs Zombies table is really so good! Can't wait for Star Wars. Maybe we'll get some Nintendo themed tables in the future.
