They need to get a Has-Been Heroes demo out because it is a hard game to describe and a lot of people would enjoy it more than that 4.5 would have you believe.

Added to coming soon on EU eShop:

Metal Slug 30/3 €6.99
Graceful Explosion Machine 6/4 €12.99

Great news, I thought G.E.M. was going to release at the end of the month. Besides, with a good price.

New nindie for Japan, Kamiko by Fairune developer.

Nice, saw a new game from Skipmore then figured "It's probably 3DS.... >_>" then saw Nintendo Switch! :D Happy.

I love my 3DS, but I want my Switch to get going full steam ahead. The more games it has each and every day the more and more attractive it becomes as a package to people.

Out of my SnakePass frustration, I bought Has-Been Heroes and I am really digging it. I've only played the first two levels but it is working for me.

Pic-a-Pix Colour looks neat. And it's cross-buy! Though it does also say that the Wii U version has extra big puzzles you can buy as additional content.

that's not boxboy.

Seriously, I was hoping to blast through it before Persona 5 consumed me for the entire month of April. How long will the US have to wait?

Y'know, I get that the Switch OS and related apps are super barebones in general right now, but it's kind of absurd that the wishlist in the Switch eShop doesn't automatically remove titles you've bought from itself. I don't think I've ever seen a wishlist act like that before.

Maybe they'll do a Soul Blazer trilogy compilation if Secret of Mana sells well.
This year is the 25th anniversary of Soul Blazer.

Both of my games (ZaciSa & Hot Rod Racer) go on sale for 50% in Europe/Australia today as well.

Also, think I might end up submitting my final Wii U game to Nintendo this weekend, hopefully.

Which platforms do you plan on developing after that?

Considering he has released games for Nintendo already should make it easier.

I think they specifically said they want to have a more curated platform this time (supposedly due to quality concerns). On the developer forums for Wii U and 3DS, developers are also just getting "non-answers" and are suggested to send a pitch to NoE and NoA. So even having released games on previous Nintendo platforms doesn't mean easy access, especially as both Hot Rod Racer and ZaciSa didn't perform quite as well in the few reviews they got.

GulAtiCa

Yep, it's really hard right now to get in. They want original good experiences currently. ZaciSa may have sold very well, but both it and the not so great Hot Rod Racer did get poor reviews (ZaciSa EU release only one that got moderate/ok reviews). So I have that going against me.

Currently I am trying to pitch them Drop It: Block Paradise!, a more deluxe version with 2x the content & story. I feel like that game, being more colorful and fun, should fit the Switch audience well.

Ironically, if I never attempted that budget style game, Drop It would have been likely released by now.

Getting impatient on Switch virtual console news. I'd pick up Pikmin 2 on Switch for sure but it seems pointless getting anything new on Wii U.

I don't mind picking up VC stuff on the Wii U since I'm pretty confident there will be some sort of upgrade path.

Wii retail downloads are another story, though. Those I'm really hesitant to buy until Nintendo makes it clear what will happen with Wii games on Switch.

Wii retail downloads are another story, though. Those I'm really hesitant to buy until Nintendo makes it clear what will happen with Wii games on Switch.

I've got an extensive VC collection on Wii U (and even more in Wii mode), so I hope there's a robust library and minimal upgrade fees.

You know, you could always buy it on Wii U and then play it on Wii U.

I certainly could do that, but would sooner resume my lapsed game of Pikmin 3 on Wii U.

I'm just more keen on filling my brand new Nintendo with software I can take on work trips (or anywhere) with me than adding more games to the Wii U that's slowly gathering dust.

I know it's largely my own quirks, but I think people would be making more impulse buys on Switch than Wii U while the Switch library is still small.
