Super Mario 64 DS is racking up some nice numbers and Pokemon game's are still on fire, Nintendo better release a new pokemon game fast on the ds.

only 1 ds number? Nintendo has to be pleased with those Mario64 DS numbers. Who would have thought it woudl sell so well. I guess being a launch title and the nostalgic BEST PLATFORMER EVAR! helped.

They make so much money off their handhelds. Lets hope the DS gen is kind to them.

I've seen a few before (MM Zero 2, SF Alpha 3, Yu-Gi-OH!, SpongeBob, etc) plus the GBA logo usually appears for multiplatform games like Madden, THUG or the Incredibles (though obviously it's the console titles shown).

You know, it astounds me that Super Smash Bros. Melee is the highest selling Gamecube title and Nintendo has not even hinted at the possiblity of a sequel.

Maybe that's why they sell so well (partially anyway) is becuase they are so far apart SSB fans are starved for a new entry in the franchise and they gobble it up immediately the next entry is released.

Meh, or it's just a bad business decision. Take your pick.

I think its a good business decision. MP2 was too samey too soon. Some games don't need sequels. I rather new stuff

Do ya see any other GBA games going to 2 million? None are really close enough to get there anytime soon so I dunno~but I'd think Mario 3 could and should.

Mario 3 will definitely hit 2 million over the next year (it still sells upwards of 30k a month). Dunno about anything else though, I think it's too late in the lifecycle for any others to climb that far. DKC1, Kirby and Pokemon Emerald should all break a million this year though, maybe The Minish Cap Maio & Luigi or Metroid Fusion too.

*sniff* It's just....Mario 3 really deserves it....after Nintendo nuked the rest of the World-e card releases -_-! Would it really have been so hard to release 4 more packs of cards??

Emerald might do especially well like it is in Japan. Fr/Lg's legs are spent that much I know. After being out for 9 months, R/S in Jan '04 outsold Fr/Lg after they were only out 4 months in Jan '05. Sheesh.

I'd like for Minish Cap to outsell LTTP ya know~new games need more loving then ports ^_^;

I noticed that sonycowboy's Sapphire number is the same as my SMA number. These are based off of Meier's totals last month, but I'll double check those two soon.

More people need to buy Wario Ware.. that's shocking sales for a game so great, did Nintendo advertise it? Actually, I blame the low sales on the name "Wario Ware", "Made in Wario" sounds so much cooler and I was pissed when Nintendo announced Wario Ware as the name here.
