I can't open the eStore. Is anybody else having the same problem?
Power button, choose Restart
You just bought a new home and need a new key chain anyway. Suck it up!
Just want to say that I love the shit out of my Switch.
Also, can I reorder the games on my screen?
What's on the bottom right?
I worked at Best Buy for two yearsSwitching our 10 years old router to new one fixed all my network issues with the device. Not sure if people really upgrade their networking devices but this was long overdue.
I've put a few more pics into an imgur gallery
Hey guys when playing BOTW are you guys exploring every inch of the map or only collecting what you need and doing main missions? The game is sooo good that I feel like I need to see every part of it. So much so that I use a star to pin where I've been and use one of the glowing pins to go to where I want next. This way I don't back track to where I've already been. Keen to know how others are playing and if there are any good tips.
Btw in case some people don't know. If you find the jump button in an awkward position you can reverse it in settings so it's the bottom circle button closer to the thumb. I find this better.
I've beaten the game (although I'm still playing, finishing stuff up), but I did a semi-thorough exploration of each area before moving on. I tried to cover most of each one, but I didn't go out of my way to finecomb every inch. That would have taken ages (and I was at 115h when I finally beat the game anyway). I didn't mark where I've been as such, but you can at least roughly tell that anyway by the icons for shrines, seeds, etc.

I'm eager for a second game too. Mario Kart is out next week so thats not long, but I really fancy shovel knight...
"#NoGames"
The Switch is region free, you know.Isaac is not available in Europe yet

My switch no longer recognizes my BOTW game card...
Is shovel knight worth the purchase if I already played the original on another platform? I beat the base game, but not the DLCs.
I should share the story of how I got a Switch.
My kids (8 and 12) have been wanting one since before it dropped. I've been pointing out to them that a) it's hard to find one b) has few games and c) we don't really need a new system. I tell them, maybe later in the year. Maybe.
So while we're on vacation I have one shipped to work, and on our way home (from a successful, fun and tiring road trip) I drive by the office and pick it up and tell them it's "computer equipment." I pull it out of the box when we get home and they completely lose their minds with excitement.
Sometimes being a Dad is so awesome.

And where's the youtube-video ala "Nintendo sixtyfoooour!"?

Nothing says love like buying your kids' affection!
I kid, I know you only bought it for yourself under the pretence of getting it for your kids, no way the wife is going to see through that one.
Seriously though, getting a new console/computer from your parents as a kid is one of those memories that'll stick.
So with MK8D coming out next week I was looking into getting some more Joy-Cons for some local MP parties, but these things are still completely sold out! Hopefully we get a large shipment of them by the 28th (especially the blue/blue ones, please Nintendo!)
Will MK8D be substantially different from MK8D? I assume not, maybe just a few more tracks.

afaik they let you stock 2 items, there's a 3rd level of boost, and there's a retooled battle mode in addition to the expanded course list and roster.
The course list is the same, I thought...? Except for the battle mode courses (or are they just taken from the regular courses?).

Would joy-cons arriving in store today have the desync issue resolved? Just ordered neon blues and neon reds on Amazon.ca. Hoping it's a thing of the past!

Has anyone elses joycons starting sliding off without needing to press the button?
It requires some light force, but i'm worried about it now.
Defiantly an issue with the cons, since its happening with the gamepad holder aswell.
[*]Load times cut in half at boot, and at 30% to launch a course. The difference with MK8D will depend on if you had the two DLC packs and if you enjoy battle mode from the past games. Here is a list of added features in MK8D:

- Three new vehicles.
- Ability to carry two items simultaneously.
- Additional items (Boo and feather).
