I'm located in South Jersey. I REALLY hope getting there around 2 is okay. Would be a shame to show up that early and be too far back in line

If you resolved it with your bank, call Gamestop's customer service line and have them manually authorize it.

I received an email with a declined payment from Gamestop, so I called my bank and on their end, it did show it was declined due to it being suspicious. They reset my card and I called GameStop and they authorized it. I do see a pending charge on my credit card so I think I'm good to go.

I'm picking up in store so I don't think I've run into this Chase issue yet.

Should I call up customer service and authorize them to approve everything from BB just in case?

Thats not true, I paid part off in giftcards right when it went up after the conference. Then about 2 weeks ago paid it off in full with another gift card load, nothing changed.

Amazon's system just sounds screwed.

I wonder when Walmart will ship their preorders. I bought my switch a couple months back with a debit card that is now set to expire Thursday (random act of fraud prevention from my bank that has incredible timing). Can't change the payment method on my online order.

I guess I'll hit up my local shops Friday if this thing gets cancelled.

Where in south jersey? If GameStop ships my extra one (got that extra payment verification email about an hour ago) if you don't mind driving up north to Bergen county, it's yours at cost.

Gamestop is shipping my switch. Won't hear about it until Thursday.
BB has my master's edition and pro controller. Chose in-store pickup
Amazon is sending me my regular Zelda

From what I have learned on this fiasco... order from gamestop or bestbuy in person and pay in full for in store pickup. This Bestbuy mess sounds horrid.

Gonna go in and pay mine off today after work so I'll ask them to make sure, but if corporate gave them a hard no it'll save me the trouble knowing ahead of time.

Here's my plan:

Thursday night I'm driving to one of the Gamestop's I know is doing a midnight launch at around 6 PM. If it's looking very unlikely that I will get one at that Gamestop, I'm going to the nearby Target.

If THAT doesn't work out, I'll call it a night and get up early to go to my local in-mall Gamestop that is doing their launch in the morning during regular store hours. Will try and get their at like 7 AM, which they've told me is plenty early for releases at their location.

I don't have a preorder btw.

just traded some stuff. I'm getting Mario kart 8 on the switch so i thought it was decent to get like $30 back for it. in fact, the 50% extra deal going on at GameStop right now is pretty awesome. switch paid, Zelda + Bomberman paid, pro controller paid..

now we just gotta wait. thinking of doing horizon in the mean time.

You might want to go to Walmart as well they apparently have stock.

My Jan 12th NEON console order still says "Awaiting authorization" I used two best buy gift cards and 1 rewards certificate..so far nothing is happening, still the same as day 1, pre ordered processing..Im in California

Some stores aren't.

We don't know if yours is or not.

So Amazon was not applying the Prime Discount on the five Breath of the Wild amiibo, so I moved those to Best Buy. Luckily they are still available as a pickup preorder at my local Best Buy store. I now have those, Zelda Standard and the Neon Switch. Can't wait until Thursday night!

Got word on Pro Controllers at Target in my area. Each store will have approximately 10 with the bigger Super Targets having about double that supply.

The one near me has 30. Only one case of neon apparently. Not sure about any other stores in the region unlike the info I got for Pro Controllers. They didn't take pre-orders at this specific store so this stock is available to whoever. They also received 10 Zelda SE's.

Called half the Target's in my state, spoke with managers at each. All claimed they had no Switch consoles, games or peripherals yet, and two were very, very concerned after how Nintendo handled the NES Classic. Not that the two are similar at all, and I know it won't be like that, but shit comes out in 4 days and the distribution seems incredibly sketch.

I'm still going to try to snag a Pro Controller and Zelda on Friday morning, but I'm going to hit up the local Super Target and camp out at 4 AM.

Also in Washington! Everything Switch (joy-cons, games, etc) are still "pre-ordered" or "processing". The only thing that's made it into prepared is Pro controller.

(None of my Switch stuff via Amazon has gone into preparing yet either)

I'm on the east coast in the south.

Amazon:

Gray Switch, BOTW Switch, BOTW WiiU all say arriving Friday and Not Yet Shipped.

Best Buy:

Pro Controller, Zelda and Bow Link amiibo are all at preparing

Charge grip still is at preordered but still has it at get it Mar 3

My Zelda special edition has changed to "Order Received" on Best Buy's website. I'm in Portland, OR. I hope it arrives on Thursday like it says SO BADLY. I don't want to have to wait for it to show up on Friday... :(

My brother's Switch status on the order just says "Pre-Ordered". He got in a chat to talk to a representative and they didn't provide him with much information. He pre-ordered via BestBuy online.
