Maybe because most people here don't speak Japanese and would like to actually enjoy the game in a non-cumbersome way in their own native tongue? Plus any DQ release in the west is good for RPG fans and the series itself.

Why are you replying like I should have known that? I was genuinely curious and just asking. I didn't think people were that excited just to see a bit of the translation but I guess I was wrong. There's nothing wrong with that and I wasn't implying there was. I definitely want to see how the English text is as well.
