Nintendo online is hilarious the only reason i try it is because i wanted to buy the snes n64 and gamecube NSO controllers. And use them on other hardware.

Fuck online lol. The only game that work well are hosted on non nintendo stuff like diablo 3 and 2

The launch prices of the next gen consoles are really gonna take a toll if OP is $450 is giving him grief. He won't be alone, but we should all start stockpiling popcorn for that announcement. It's gonna break a lot of people. Spiritually and financially.

I could swear that on Switch 2 I could talk to my friends via the Nintendo online system. And that my friends list was visible via the bubble on the top left of the Home Screen, even on the original Switch.

The Online has always been a disaster, thats why they charge so little (in comparison with the competition) and they dont care, $90 bucks for a game? Sure. This button is only to connect with your friends, something available on every other platform for free in some way... well not here. Pay or it is useless.

And it has always been like this. Remember on the PS4/Xone generation where social media also made a huge boom and consoles added a "share" button so people can record, share, make reviews, etc; and it was somewhat encourage by Sony/Microsoft? Not Nintendo, if you are not sharing the revenue of the video, you are not going to publish it. This also got a pass.

Just look at Elden Ring, the Switch 2 couldn't run it at 60 judging by the trailers, and Cyberpunk doesnt work all that well. And the next games are going to ask even more, in case you dont understand how new generation works.

I don't think they necessarily get a free pass, but they definitely deserve, and have earned, way more hate and criticism. They have that cloak of nostalgia that apparently keeps blinding people seeing their scumbag behaviour.

If graphics are so important… Why the series X is not the best selling console right now… Or the PS5 Pro… ?… Is all about the games. And Nintendo is the king when in comes to games.
 
Haven't liked Nintendo since the N64 days.

Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time are still the best especially Majora's Mask. Last good Zelda was Twilight Princess on the Gamecube and even that wasn't as good as the two N64 ones.

Still haven't been a Mario Party as good as Mario Part 3.

They would have to make 2 new big Zelda in the style of the WII U tech demo for me to like Nintendo again. And a interesting Mario Party like Mario Part 3 again definitely helps too.
 
Its a device for children and for your missus to play while you go play real mens games like Call of duty, they dont give a shit about all that stuff, for those that do though, we have a console for you, hit me up in the dm if you want more info 💪🟢.
