Thank you XSEED!

I'm so psyched about how many games they're bringing over lately, I wasn't aware of this game but I'm always down to try a new one so I'll be picking this up on launch to support the awesome people at XSEED.

Also, thanks for all the Senran Kagura and EDF love, also picking those up on launch :P

I'd really like to know how XSEED decide on what games to localise these days. Is it based on what they can get licensed, what titles they think they can get a return on? Or vanity project? Some of their choices, like this one, seem a little bizarre.

Between this and Return to PopoloCrois, it's getting to the point where I suspect that Marvelous has decreed that Xseed will localise all of its games, and is moving towards getting localisation underway before the games are out in Japan. Which, frankly, is an obvious move, given the state of the Japanese market. Start including localisation costs into the initial budget and include international sales in the sale figures.

As much as I like oppai this doesn't look too good from the screens.

How did that Dengeki fighting game turn out anyways.

It's nice to see XSEED increasing their output so much, I just wish more of the games were of interest to me. Besides Trails and Popolocrois, everything else has no appeal for myself.

And I was really hoping for at least one manservice game this year after the started so well with Akiba's Trip, but it's all just cheesecake stuff. :/

There have been a disproportionate number of Japanese games with all-female or nearly all-female casts recently, so we haven't been able to work our manservice magic again like we did in Akiba's Trip. (Return to PopoloCrois has a lot of male characters, but I somehow don't think that's quite the right game for manservice! Heheh)

I'm sure if an opportunity presents itself, though, we'll do our best to deliver. ;)

Well, that hasn't stopped XSEED before, so why would it now?

That's true, we have released games that have outwardly looked like nothing special in the past.

Good thing they all turned out to be AWESOME once people got over their preconceived notions about them, though! ;)

I really hope so. I know it's not easy due to so many games in Japan focusing on female fan service, but there are opportunities. I'll keep saying this until the cows come home, but I still think it was so awesome what you guys did with Akiba's Trip in getting Marvelous to add the male portraits. You don't get enough credit for that IMO.

I was really hoping to see Ukiyo no Roushi/Shishi from you guys. That's another game that has equal opportunity fan service that just came out in Japan and you've release Way of the Samurai stuff before, so I think it's in your wheelhouse, but it looks like your 2015 schedule is full. (I'd love to be proven wrong though.) Hopefully you guys will get some opportunities to bring us underserved gamers some more manservice soon.

Geez, with all the games they're planning to release currently, the title should be changed to "XSeed planning to not sleep for several months."

Interesting pick up but as others have said, much more interested in that we're getting licenses of same company titles before they even come out in Japan.

High hopes for the other Marvelous titles coming out in Japan soon. :D

Well there is always hope that Nitro+'s BL line of games (Nitro+ Chiral) get their characters added to Blasterz at some point if you want some of that.

I'm not sure that would really fit with what they're going for here.

I wish more developers would take a chance and branch out. It's still an extremely underserved portion of the market.

It makes sense XSEED is doing this, but this is some weird shit. EXAMU, a developer that often works together with ArcSys, develops a game with Nitroplus characters, that often works together with 5pb/Mages, but being published instead by Marvelous, which means XSEED's localizing it.

So how does this play? Does it have the same negative and positive emotion bonuses as Aquapazza that penalize for overly defensive play?

Day One.

The question is: Is it awesome black suit Saber from Fate/Zero or shitty damsel in distress from Stay/Night?

Arturia has never once been a damsel. I don't think you know the series to be saying something like that.

How does XSEED manage to get all these projects going at the same time? I am so down, I didn't expect this one to come over. Then again, I didn't expect Dengeki Bunko FC to come over either, so maybe I should have a little more faith.

Yep I know the series. And she's awesome in Fate/Zero but she sucks in Fate/Stay Night.
