What an utter let down of a title, il be surprised if they manage to No Man's Sky it back from the brink, the share holders don't understand these things like long term planning or reputation.
Might just be tossed like EA's Anthem even after all the promises.
CDPR and Grove Street Games should team up for a brand new game, just imagine the possibilities.
They didn't do shit. They are PS2 ports for crying out loud. They moved it to Unreal Engine and turned on some inbuilt lightingNah, put some respect on Grove Street Games name, they still released a functional game, even with the goofy looking characters lol I think the whole GTA remaster thing isn't even near the level of what the fuck was going with CP2077
NPC know you exist and react to you in that game, in CP2077 they don't.
You can ride trains, in CP 2077...you can't.
In the remasters clearly they still have cops and gangs that can drive cars, in CP2077, none of that shit exist.
I hope revisiting those classics reminds people just how fucked up CP2077 out here lacking 2001 features lol

Yeah that's the thing. Purely from a business point of view, should they put time and resources into fulfilling the promises and expectations of CP2077, or put that time and resources towards a new game. What an utter let down of a title, il be surprised if they manage to No Man's Sky it back from the brink, the share holders don't understand these things like long term planning or reputation.

They owe it to people to at least make good on their promises. Namely, the ps5/x patch. If they don't do that I hope it truly ruins their reputation for good. But I know better than that after seeing companies like Rockstar and ea get away with whatever they want. Gamers will get right back on the Witcher 4 hype train like nothing ever hapoened.Yeah that's the thing. I'm very cynical about them ever getting CP2077 to where is should be. And playing devils advocate I couldn't blame them for not doing so.
I disagree with the final sentence. I don't think this release will have no impact on Witcher 4 and their future titles. I think this will have a real, lasting hit to their reputation and W4 won't do nearly as well as W3.They owe it to people to at least make good on their promises. Namely, the ps5/x patch. at least the core story is okThe technical flaws have distracted from the fact it's not a very good game.
The skill tree is bloated nonsense. The gunplay is ok, but the guns are all too similar. The cyber skills are underwhelming. Some good quests are buried under mounds of boring side stuff.
Too ambitious. It needs serious editing.
The potential is gone,a massive amount of content and gameplay mechanics was removed during development, this is not the same game that was promised even if it was bug free. This game is over and done with and no amount of updates are going to make it relevant in future, it will always be considered as wasted potential.
Very much so.at least the core story is ok
Probably, but they'll never get back the 9 months they spent grinding on patches mostly aimed at fixing last gen performance that will never be good. It has seriously slowed the pace of the usual kind of post-release bugs and fixes we generally see from CDPR.Yeah but will it ever be good on current gen?
Anyone saying the world is "empty" is lying or high. CP2077 has by far the densest of any open world at that kind of scale. There's so much to do and explore. On PC does it really fix all the issues people have with the empty world and shallow gameplay or does it just have less bugs and better performance?
