I know, I know, go to a doctor. But I'm not in chronic pain and I don't like running to the doc for every little thing.
I've been back in the gym last week after not going for at least a year. On Friday, being stupid, I didn't stretch or anything, just warmed up with low weights. While doing reverse grip cable pull downs, I got a really bad cramp in my brachioradialis in my right arm. I stretched it out and continued my workout. Everything seemed fine. That night, however, and the the next day, I had really hard time stretching it out completely, but I just chalked that up to my arms being sore. I was able to go to the gym again and work out my shoulders, but I had a hard time lifting the weights with my right arm.
Last night and today it's still really hard to straighten out my right arm. It's almost stuck in an "L" shape. I can straighten it, but it hurts(the really sore muscle type of pain). I don't have any persistent pain, and it is tender to the touch. I can't tell if its swollen or anything. There seems to be no real bruising.
Anyway, long story short, should I force myself to stretch it, or just baby it for a while?
