[Notebookcheck] Steam Deck 2 and Valve home console in the works as quiet Sony partnership hints at strategic alliance // Moore's Law Is Dead

Playstation games have been very good with Steamdeck support because they understand not relying on windows APIs only. The only partnership is that they support a linux based OS and other graphics and compute API like Vulkan over directX. For this reason alone PlayStation games have had very good support and they've been doing a good job of it.

It's almost certain that it's just Sony games, in the PC version, with native Steam OS support.

It would be funny, while MS spent years attacking Sony with FUD and Sony kept quiet; now it's time for Sony to hit MS in the pocket with Windows.

"All Sony games, with the best graphics ever, run 15% better on Steam OS than on Windows."

???
what's that supposed to mean?
all Sony games use DirectX 12... and DirectX 12 only...

EDIT: ok, technically God of War is DirectX 11 I guess...
