Not if I buy one of these:

If they actually had a separate commentary track running through those headsets that excluded Cole & Lawler that would be worth the investment.

If it's just the broadcast team, you're better off jamming pencils into your ears and rupturing your eardrums so they bleed. (Or just don't buy the headset... that works too.)

There are tons of people who wear those at the hockey games here so they can hear the play by play.

they also sell stuff like that at NASCAR races so you can either A) hear commentary or B) hear the pit crew chatter.

There is actually a point to it with either of those cases though.

Figured yall would appreciate this. My bro has always been a big time card collector. He had a profile done on him recently in some card magazine due to his wrestling collection which is I guess arguably the best in the world. He got a bunch of Hogans signed and gave me one for Christmas.. sent it as an early present so he didn't change his mind. Lol.

Holy crap, the Bellas dressed as Mario and Luigi? That is fucking awesome.

Even more awesome since they seemed to struggle to keep their costumes on. They kept straightening their mustaches and had to pull down their tight and short skirts several times.

"Kelly made her WWE debut on June 13, 2006, becoming the youngest female performer in company history at age 19. Her character, an exhibitionist, was introduced performing a striptease for the crowd. She reveals Vince McMahon demonstrated the routine she performed in front of the crowd that night.

Kelly recalls, "I'd only been training for two months when I found out I was going to start appearing on TV—as an exhibitionist! When Vince McMahon showed me the routine, I was in shock, but, you know, anything to get my foot in the door. It was the most nerve-racking minute of my life."

THQ said today that the THQ San Diego studio (the guys who made WWE All Stars) are going to be working on the UFC games from now on.

Fuck.

THQ's Bilson 'not sure there's room' for Space Marine sequel alongside MMO
by Mike Schramm on Oct 14th 2011 8:15AM

Joystiq got a chance to chat with THQ's Executive Vice President of Core Games, Danny Bilson, at a Saints Row: The Third event earlier this week. He spoke to us about Space Marine's chances for a sequel, and what he plans for THQ this holiday and beyond.

Bilson says Warhammer 40K: Space Marine is "doing okay," and that "40K fans in particular" were pleased. "It's a really good game, it's doing pretty well. In this world, honestly, you have to do exceptionally well to make any money, because the games are so expensive." Bilson hopes the game keeps selling, and expects the impending release of co-op DLC and "more DLC after that" to help maintain its momentum.

He balks at promising a sequel, however, saying that the Space Marine gameplay may bump up against THQ's planned Warhammer 40K MMO, Dark Millennium, in 2013. "We've already announced the Imperium in the MMO as a class you can play," he says, "and if you combine that it's very active, as opposed to the more turn-based stuff. I'm not sure there's room for Space Marine." But there is more coming for you, battle brothers: "We are heavily invested in the 40K universe, so there's more stuff coming in the 40K universe, absolutely. We extended the deal for quite a while."

As for this year, THQ's latest push is obviously Saints Row (which is out on November 15), and Bilson lays out the beginning of 2012 succinctly: "We've got WWE on the 22nd of November, UFC 3 in February, and then Darksiders 2 will be our next big release after that. It's coming, we're just finishing it up, it's really great."

According to Bilson, the company is trying to narrow its focus, and has done so by investing strongly in five key studios. "We have five studios now: Relic, Volition, Vigil, San Diego, which is going to be building UFC in the future. And then Montreal, where we're building Patrice Desilet's game at the moment, so he's up there working away now."

Bilson says he's excited to have Saints Row out now, and just as excited to see it in a "fall season" full of high-profile releases. "For my opinion," he says, "the greatest lineup of games I've ever seen in my life are coming out the next two months. And Saints Row holds its own and stands among those, because it's not comparable to the other stuff. It's very different."

I've only just started watching PGW recently, but Willie Mack has impressed the hell out of me. I was very skeptical going into the first match I saw him in, but damn can that guy move well for his size!

He's been on NWA Hollywood alot lately and yeah. He can definitely move. Going off of his appearance on the AoW podcast, he seems like a cool dude.

I had the slimmest hope that either we would get a sequel to WWE All Stars or the San Diego studio would take over for Yukes for the main WWE franchise, but now it looks like neither of those things will happen. :|

BOOOO at THQ.

the UFC games are the best thing Yukes makes.

WWE all stars was the best receved and best selling(?) wrestling game in years.

If anything the All Stars Team should be taking over SvR and yukes can just make UFC games.

also apparently Mick Foley was the special ref for a Cena vs Miz match at a house show in dublin ireland.

I guess we should expect to see Mick on TV soon?

Should I make .gifs?
There was a part where one of the Bellas was hanging onto the rope from the outside and her entire skirt came up and you could see her underwear and incredible Bella ass. Perfect gif opportunity, just sayin'...

Call me when THQ funds a Syn Sophia wrasslin game. Until then, I won't pay a dime for their shit.

They made some crap recently, so I have no faith in them today. It is like asking Rare to make a new Blast Corps now - it would probably be shit.

So then it would be just like the original.

They haven't made a wrestling game since they were known as AKI, and that's only because nobody has called them even though they've stated that they want to make more. Your statement makes no damn sense.

Well they made some Kinnikuman Muscle since becoming syn-Sophia which uses animations and some mechanics from the classic AKI engine. It's not what people want however, but they still got it should they get the chance again somewhere down the line.

NEVAR FORGET

They made Ready to Rumble on Wii, which was a mess - it is close enough to make me wary of them doing wrestling again.

They could've had the guys that made Def Jam: Fight for NY making the wrasslin' games, but they just had to go and destroy that studio. :[

That was made by Aki (Syn Sophia). Best wrasslin devs ever.
