Just came back from Interstellar (in imax). Very good movie, friends. Some parts of it are also high on the FnP factor.

The triple threat was basically a flippy indy match with WWE's coat of paint on it. Really damn good either way. Amazing that this was put together for a Smackdown show and not for a PPV. This would have been a super hot opener to Survivor Series, or a great match to put in the 4 or 5 spot.

Theoretically speaking, a pro wrestling writing team should be good enough to literally do such a thing, and make it feel natural. Pro wrestling is presented as if it's a real sport, and real sports sometimes have that 'pull two names out of a hat' match up. The fact that they can't write match ups like that in a compelling manor is either a testament to how terrible they are, or a testament to how badly they're constrained by the powers that be.
What parts were FnP? A couple of lines between Merv's dad and the rubix cubes maybe.

He'll be great when he gets the paint, with his taunts he'll kind of be like an Irish Muta. Fuck knows what will happen on the main roster though.

I think Balor will do great on the main roster. He's got a great build and isn't too short, so Vince will like him. He can go in the ring with anyone and cut good promos, so the internet will love him. He looks good, so women will like him. And the paint gimmick will almost certainly get him over with kids. On top of all that, he just carries himself like a star and comes off like one any time he's on the screen.
