BREAKING NEWS

WWE has ended the run of their "WWE Superstars" series, PWInsider.com has confirmed. The series has been replaced by 205 Live, which will officially debut tomorrow and air live every Tuesday on the WWE Network after Smackdown Live goes off the air on the USA Network. Internally, the change is being seen as a way of replacing one series with another that will add greater value to WWE Network subscriptions.

Main Event, which had been taped on Tuesdays, will now be taped on Mondays prior to Raw going on the air.

The Superstars series was originally a syndicated show that launched in the late 1980s that later shifted over to the USA Network in 1996. Prior to the launch of Monday Night Raw in 1993, it was considered the primary series for WWF and was used to drive storylines directions. As WWF shifted focus to cable programming in the 1993, the series became more of a magazine style show reviewing recent events. The original incarnation ended its run in 2001 on TNN, which at the time was the home of WWF programming on cable.

The most recent incarnation was originally launched as an original series for WGN America in April 2009 as well as international syndication. In 2011, the series left WGN and was streamed online on the WWE website before settling into a home on the WWE Network when WWE launched its streaming service in February 2014

Reigns wasn't over as a face ages before Owens.

Again you're asking the only guys who are truly entertaining to watch on the mic force themselves to be less entertaining for the sake of a guy who no one wants to like anyway and another guy who got cheered fine despite being not that entertaining since turning face.

Rollins won over Toronto last week he doesn't need Owens to handicap himself and lessen one of Raw's few brightspots.

I really think that Seth has the fans and love of the crowd, but to not let him have a rematch at roadblock is just mid blowing to me. I don't mind Roman but wtf is this swerv...

Since he won the title at Mania, Seth has not gone without a world title match in every PPV he has been at both pre and post injury and as a champ or challenger.

I'm more then okay with Roman getting a match because of the insanity of Seth's continuous title shot after title shot.

It just doesn't make sense at all. Jericho broke the rules and they are acting like it never happened... I mean at least have some consistency but maybe that is too much to ask for

And who's fault is that? Not seths. This whole industry is built off of story lines. WWE has ruined perfectly good wrestlers with jack shit story lines. Look at AJ ffs, I really like him but smackdowns storyline for him has sucked ass

AK fucking styles losing to a sideshow act for no fucking reason. Like wtf.

You can stick a bag of shit in that ring this RR. Either way, the big sell is Brock and Berg. But they're going to have 60k people booing the shit out of Roman.

I'm not asking anyone to handicap themselves, I'm asking for the heel champion to play a heel character. The Kevin Owens show is drawing near record low apathy from fans so let's not overrate exactly how entertaining the midcard comedy routine is.

I'm just saying it isn't the end of the world that he misses one title shot or a sign of bad writing, especially when odds are he's gonna be the Universal champ by Mania.

Technically he never came to ring side except when Rollins pedigreed him. All his interference was in the crowd.

by the way, every single "this is awesome" chant at survivor series weekend was started by a little jimmy, in case you ever wonder why a completely average match starts getting a "this is awesome" chant. some adorable little kid starts chanting it DIS IS AWSOM and then his dad starts chanting it and then everyone starts chanting it :)
