It seems like what's recommended to me nowadays because I am a minority. Since most people have smartphones, quickly taking it out and recording the racist perpetrator and shaming them on social media is the ideal way to deal with racism?
I mean if your a pussy sure. Did the movie little giants teach you nothing?Yeah basically. No longer do you have to fight your own battles against a random intolerant person out there, you can summon the force and revel at the impending doom.

Its really not standing up to racism though. Its being a pussy and doesn’t challenge the thought process of the person you believe is a racist. Your anwer is why everyone is a pussy today. They are afraid of confrontation or not having enough thought to back up their feelings so they need a hive mind to think for them. Are you sure it's being a pussy?
You just hold a camera up and troll, instead of getting into a sparring match. I call that efficiency, less energy wasted, less feelings involved, better results for your time.
intredastingYes, maybe they will think twice when their shit is put on blast for all to see.

Because racist can change, I know some and they are much better people now. It ain't easy and takes a long time. Why do you have to change their thought process? People can react as they please. If you expose yourself, maybe you should act more defensively next time by not doing that.
What are these riots but trying to change people’s minds? If the riots weren’t to change peoples minds were they just to loot shit? Why do you have to change their thought process? So you expect more of everyone else than yourself? Those are protests/riots with a cause, I'm talking about random individual reactions. People don't owe one another anything.

Why not call them out AND record them? It doesn't have to be one way or the other.People that sit there and just record shit to put on the internet for clout are just as bad.
DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT YOU MORON.
If I see people being racist I call it out like you should, not record it to get clicks. Honestly its a problem.
I mean sure, why not?
If the racist isn't ashamed of what they say or do, what's the problem of sharing that with the world?
If the racist is ashamed of these deeds then mayyyyyyyyyyyyyyybe they shouldn't be racist?
Or you could just have some fucking decency to not whip your phone out and record people that don’t want to be recorded.
If they are being racist and harrasing people in public you can't expect your shit to be hidden from the public.Or you could just have some fucking decency to not whip your phone out and record people that don’t want to be recorded.
I mean maybe don’t be racist? Is that really all that difficult to do?
Because recording them is typically something that only creates more resentment and entrenches people in whatever side they already believe. It leads to long term negatives and small short term gains for the other side. Recording and posting shit on social media just encourages non-action to other people, maybe you could impact even more people if they see someone DO something. Why not call them out AND record them? It doesn't have to be one way or the other.
Maybe that person is just having a really shitty day. Maybe they aren’t always like that. Maybe there’s some other underlying issues for them being the way they are but you really don’t care about that. All you care about is ruining someone’s life who had you just walked away you’d most likely never see again.
also true, you have to consider and weigh these things as they situate themselves / timeMaybe that person is just having a really shitty day. Maybe they aren’t always like that. It would be one thing if someone slipped up and said something racist by accident and apologized, but 99 percent of the time these people recorded are harassing strangers who are just minding their own business.Because recording them is typically something that only creates more resentment and entrenches people in whatever side they already believe. If I feel I need to record a situation I will hold on to it for a reason like evidence in a crime etc... not to post on social media to get some fucking virtue points and stir shit.
99% means it's happening all the time with the grossest intentions (regardless of context)It would be one thing if someone slipped up and said something racist by accident, but 99 percent of the time these people are harassing strangers who are just minding their own business.
Ive had plenty of shitty days but it doesn’t turn me into a racist. Stop covering for racists.
Most of the racism I see is black on black youth. And its easily de-escalated by just talking. There is no need to record that shit as some gotcha. Also recording is just showing one perspective of PART of a situation. It would be one thing if someone slipped up and said something racist by accident and apologized, but 99 percent of the time these people recorded are harassing strangers who are just minding their own business.
you are arguing with an autism camouflaging psychopath, just so you knowMost of the racism I see is black on black youth. And its easily de-escalated by just talking. There is no need to record that shit as some gotcha. Also recording is just showing one perspective of PART of a situation.
Oh for fucks sake dude. I’m trying to have a normal conversation with you here. People have shitty lapses of judgement. It happens within all races of people. I mean, fuck, I can go on Twitter right now and find a black person with “Jesus above all” in their header only to read a tweet on their feed about “mayo tears” or “It’s not about you YT”. Should I call their job or send their tweets to CNN “coincidentally they wouldn’t give a fuck”? Or do you I move on with my life?
People can be shitty. It’s been happening forever. If you get off on ruining someone’s life then by all means go for it. At the end of the day, I have no clue what has happened in that persons life to make them that way. I also have no idea if they have children or family they’re responsible for. The 5 minutes of gratification I’d get out of posting some unruly crap online simply isn’t worth the potential life ruining experience it could mean for the person on the other side of it. And this goes for any person, no matter the color of their skin.
Don't be racist.you are arguing with an autism camouflaging psychopath, just so you know
Don't be racist.
So you see how verbal action can de-escalate a situation? I didn't even need to record and post it..... wait... DOES THIS COUNT??????Now you’re getting it.
you are a low iq individual, it's very sadYou’re still making excuses for racists. It’s 2020, stop doing that. It’s not some kind of medical condition that you don’t have control over, it’s always intentional. The longer you let these individuals just spout off their hate speech without facing consequences the longer they’ll be around.
