Difference is that the videos that this thread is referencing are typically individuals that are being belligerent, violent, and dangerous. Best recent example is Amy Cooper who was in the process of attempting to use the local NYPD as her personal hit squad because a black guy had the audacity to tell her that her dog needed to be leashed.

Christian was being cool as hell and she was still attempting to escalate the situation. No sympathy for her, she knew exactly what she was doing.

i'd need examples but i imagine most police would do their best to determine what's what in those situations, investigate all parties

Recording people that are pissed is the best defense with anything anyway. I have a camera on my helmet when i drive on my motorcycle, why? anybody that tries to shit on me for whatever reason knows i have the proof and they get shit by cops the next day, the same for my car etc. I don't post it on social media because that's actually illegal here and frankly i am not going to let people mob another person that's disgusting.
