By the time June numbers are out in July they'll be pointing to September or something for the release of whatever their next big game is.Price isn't going to affect Xbox One sales much... It's going to funny to see how Microsoft reacts in June.

if in total (the two months)
then wow
People is getting crazy in this thread. Time to bail out.
Please god, let WiiU be the best selling console in May. I want to see the meltdowns.
200K to 115K really isnt that huge of a deal IMO.
Oh, it could've easily been a lot worse at $500.
Considering NA is Microsoft's strongest territory... Probably worse (for them).Whaaat holy shit. Wonder how it looks world wide.

Infamous didn't chart, and outsold Titanfall XB1? Holeeeey fuck.
Can anyone elaborate on this?
“Infamous: Second Son was the top-selling new-gen software title in April,” PlayStation brand boss Guy Longworth said in a statement.

Really surprised Infamous isn't on the charts this month. It's one of the first games I plan on buying when I eventually get a PS4.
It was heavily discounted at many retailers during the month. It's bad.
115k for Xbox One.
God.
Damn.
Yeah, it now seems crystal clear why they had to do what they do. Kinect was a deadweight; the market rejected it fair and square when they saw how undeveloped it was.

My honest guess is software sold just on PS4, but even that sounds off. They may be looking at bad data. It sure doesn't match up with what we know of the combined sku and individual sku charts.
From IGN
I can't believe this.
I can't.
In the first month, maybe I could. But a month after launch? Titanfall should have better legs as a MP game, goddamn.
Question:
How long can the NPD group continue to not track digital sales and still remain relevant?
By their own admission the NPD group only covers 60% of the US market.
"The NPD Groups total US numbers are based on reports from around 60 percent of US retailers."
Taken from one of their own PR statements.
So how long before NPD starts providing digital sales numbers? And how would that work? Would they have to partner with the various content providers? Would they simply provide estimates?
I can't believe this.
I can't.

Xbox One and Xbox 360 together held eight of the top 10 spots on the generation eight and generation seven console game list in the U.S.: Titanfall (Xbox One), Kinect Sports Rivals (Xbox One), Titanfall (Xbox 360), Call of Duty: Ghosts (Xbox 360), NBA 2K14 (Xbox 360), Grand Theft Auto V (Xbox 360), Minecraft (Xbox 360) and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden
Please god, let WiiU be the best selling console in May. I want to see the meltdowns.
EXTREMELY wrong. NPD covers 90-95% of the market.
From IGN
360:
April 2006 - 295K
April 2007 - 174K
April 2008 - 188K
April 2009 - 175K
April 2010 - 185K
April 2011 - 297K
April 2012 - 236K
April 2013 - 130K
Xbox One:
April 2014 - 115K
Xbox 360 has never managed such a low number for April.
Just April if true. I:SS did like 500k last month, Titanfall 1 million. No way Infamous sold another 500k lolOutsold total, or just for April?
They know damn well the only way they can get out of this mess is through first party titles. E3 is gonna be important as fuck. Master Chief may have conquered the Covenant but he has yet to face his biggest challenge. The Xbone.
I don't think so since Mario Kart is coming out at the very end of May. It's basically June. And that's when Microsoft is doing the price cut.

Well.... considering Titanfall was given away for free to almost everyone who bought an Xbox One in March.
No duh.
Today we can truly say we saw Titan fall.I assume this guy is reliable, so here is the answer for those infamous questions

Holy freaking ouch. That's got to sting.
For the month most likely not in total.
Microsoft really needs a boost with those numbers. I'd recommend unbundling the Kinect, dropping the price a hundred, and moving apps outside the paywall.
