Kinect or not, Microsoft is stuck with a console that was created with the wrong intentions. The only way they could reach parity is dropping to $349 or $299 which won't happen.

They know damn well the only way they can get out of this mess is through first party titles. E3 is gonna be important as fuck. Master Chief may have conquered the Covenant but he has yet to face his biggest challenge. The Xbone.

By their own admission the NPD group only covers 60% of the US market.

Taken from one of their own PR statements.

So how long before NPD starts providing digital sales numbers? And how would that work? Would they have to partner with the various content providers? Would they simply provide estimates?

I imagine Sony, for example, and companies that release their games on PSN, already know what the exact numbers are, so what need would they have for them to be in an NPD report?

Please provide data that confirms what you are saying. Because I have a quote from the NPD itself. Please show your work otherwise I have no reason to believe you. 95% seems improbable at best. They didn't suddenly cover a new 35% of the market since 2007.
