PS4+XB1+WIU did 2949k December 2014. They did 3067k this December.
3075k last month, so roughly flat MoM
edit: guess this was revenue, so nvm

This is lower than last year, but higher than 2013 and 2012.
XenoBlade even under TOP 30, lol.
As I said later, I thought you meant the 2015 Top 10. Not this year's December Top 10.
who the fuck doesn't own a copy of GTAV at this point? holy shit
Why would you assume that?
So you think it's normal that Forza Horizon 2 which was released back in 2014 on Xone and X360 sold better than Bloodborne which came in 2015 on PS4? Sony announced 2 million sales for Bloodborne months ago. That's not small.
Off by double digit %
MS used their biggest trump card this year (Halo) and failed to close the gap in the US. Better luck next gen.
Wait, what? Our aggregate of just the PS4 and X1 was 3m, and I doubt the WiiU sold 67k units.
So PS and Xbox strong as ever while Nintendo dropped like a rock.
This would save us a good amount of posts.I feel like a big red line of text that says "BUNDLES NOT INCLUDED" needs to be right above the list in the OP.

They weren't going to close the gap within just three months regardless.

2016 top 10,here we goI'm sure there's still a lot of people waiting for a price drop.
XenoBlade even under TOP 30, lol.
Yes, of course. Two platforms, and it was bundled left and right.
Forza Horizon 2 was bundled a ton on 360 iirc and also included in various XB1 stuff as well (to a lesser extent on XB1 but still used plenty) so that might explain it. Plus UK loves racers
Depends how you want to spin it.Or, alternatively, PS3 and Xbox 360 being insanely weak last generation.
XenoBlade even under TOP 30, lol.
Where is Halo? QUOTE]
Where it belongs. The franchise has completely strayed from its roots and has dropped significantly in quality. Sales were eventually going to reflect this.
PS3+360 after 26 months = 15.915.900
PS4 + XB1 after 26 months = 23.396.373 ( 47% higher )
Pretty impressive. Having said that the PS3 sold like shit especially early on so I can't say it's that surprising.
Or, alternatively, PS3 and Xbox 360 being insanely weak last generation.
Lack of Halo 5 really surprises me, but I guess MCC and the other shooters ate up most the market share.
hmm. The question is too high or too low.
MS used their biggest trump card this year (Halo) and failed to close the gap in the US. Better luck next gen.
So likely PS4 over 12 million and XB1 a bit under 11 million.
Not what I said. What does under top 30 even mean?
So PS and Xbox strong as ever while Nintendo dropped like a rock.
I don't get it. ._.
Basically. Comparison's this entire gen to last gen won't be quite fair because Nintendo went Supernova the entire last generation both in terms of Wii and DS
The core market is as strong or stronger than ever. That said the expanded market has no doubt shrunk
Too high? Aggregate would be around 2.9M +/- 5% then add approx 500k WiiU?Off by double digit %
Not bundled for 2015 as far as I know. At least not as long as Bloodborne which came out THIS YEAR. Also X360 is not really that big, same as RotTR situation.
The only trump card is price.
Digital is a growing number no doubt, and NPD is not the full picture, but Retail software sales are still the majority and also huge
It has to be too low, and like 15-20%.
Anyone who actually thought Halo 5 would close the gap (not just a month or two of slightly better sales for the Xbone, but fully closing the gap) is living in a dream world.

Me neither.

The lead from the prior generation has expanded due to the strong PS4 and Xbox One 2015 holiday, going from 38 percent by the end of October, growing to 47 percent by the end of November, and maintaining 47 percent higher sales by the end of December.
Didn't X1 beat ps4 with like 400k units one month in 2014
