Oh yeah I know they are beyond terrible they just usually fix the numbers at some point for the past month.
On a positive for Vita my Target actually got in Call of Duty bundles as weird as that is. We'll see if they sell.
You should let it go because this thread is basically becoming everyone vs. you. You are welcome to stay and fight everyone, but it may not be worth your time in the end.

My best friend and I are big Lakers fans, and a few years ago we kept talking about how cool it would be to go see a game together. Lo and behold, his wife one day walks into the room while we where playing NBA2K11 with two tickets to a Lakers game - on my birthday! It's like it was destiny.
Of course the Lakers lost by double digits and my best friend ended up getting a divorce, so now that I think about it maybe she didn't even pay with cash but sold her soul to the devil for the tickets...

Not even close. I would have to look back on it, but I think it did a million alone in Its first month in NPD alone. If my friends list is any indication, it is still by far the most popular game on Xbox One. Haze was a disaster. Titanfall has done well for itself considering the small userbase of the XBox One.

Kinect Sport was the only retail exclusive they released this year so far though and TLOU was the only remaster.

I've never understood why in the world even months like January right after Christmas seem to get more releases than the summer months when kids are out of school. I suppose that kids have more to do in the summer, but the summer droughts always seemed like a bad idea.

Huh. There must have been excess stock of it or something. I can't remember, did those have normal Vitas or the 3G ones. I still have yet to sign up for my 3G even after 2 years. Oh, well. Nice option to have, considering it's month to month and not a contract.

I can understand the criticism for 2 as the level design was really narrow but 3 had fairly open levels and objectives and had decent stealth mechanics. Different strokes I guess.

Depends on perspective. As a new IP, it get a sequel and developer got the fund to expand, is a big win.
But the actual performance does not match the size of marketing arm behind it.

It won't, unfortunately. Besides dates like Black Friday and some holidays, why are so many games in the last quarter of the year? Is there any study or something like that?
Negative, since it didn't really flop.
I would say it was the worst hyped game since Haze though. ACM might have been, but it got nowhere near the hyperbolic marketing / hype Titanfall did from EA, MS, and journalists eager to feed the BS machine.
This thread definitely got a little weird for a while. Any time you have someone insulting someone else's birthday presents and comparing Titanfall to Haze, it's time to take a step back.
It's too late now, can't save those who don't want to be saved.

What's this I hear about growth for the Vita? The fact that thing is still alive just shows that it could have been something if Sony had known what to do with it.

Disregarding the last statement comparing it to Haze (wow), titanfall has undoubtedly sold very well (especially when you consider the XB1 user base).
No numbers, because EA has been coy, but only Mario Kart on WiiU (which we know sold very well) and GTAV on XB360 have sold better than Titanfall (XB1) on amazon so far this year: http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/2014/videogames
Of course Amazon sales charts don't tell us anything difinitively, but I think it'd be silly to suggest it was a flop.

Well, i know i go too far comparing it with haze (it was the first big flop that came to my mind) but my point is that titanfall was hyped over the roof and get a really really agressive marketing by MS and EA, and still didnt give the push to the xbox one at the level of hype the media tried to sell to us.
It's a great game, but i think the push to the console proportional to the moneyhat MS payed is not even close.
