Just like I expected. You can easily get non-FE 3080 card in The Netherlands. That gives me hope that I will be able to get 3090 next week. Hopefully, the FE...

they SAY it's out but it's not really.

they don't have enough stock so they are trying to turn it into postive PR.

say they only had 100 gpus to sell and they are gone in 1 second. well...it's out...but not many people can buy it. but at least nvidia can say "incredible demand! it sold out in just a second!" and people will lap it up thinking "omg this is so great i need one".

it's just bullshit marketing and hype.

basically what it sounds like. They launched on paper, meaning their official documents show today was the launch date, but in reality what is a launch without stock? No one got one. This site is as enthusiast as you can get and I haven't seen a single person say they got one so that tells you everything you need to know. And now the waiting game.

perhaps Nvidia rushed this out and did a "paper launch" just so they could get out there first.

build up the hype, get the sheep to hand over their money, and go laughing to the bank. it'd be a real kick in the teeth if the AMD cards were cheaper, had similar performance, AND had more VRAM.

Well that was bullshit, managed to get 2 cards in my cart over at new egg, 1 after the other and the website crashed each time I would go to check out. New egg should have done better.

What I meant is that, if it's a paper launch and Nvidia is still having stock issues for months, then there are going to be a lot of pissed off people hungry for a powerful and affordable higher-end GPU that AMD may be able to serve.

I'm waiting to be suprised by amd. They just haven't been competitive at the top end in so long.

Well... His channel is barely two years old... Generally these channels get more reliable over time. At first they are hungry for information so they get views, so everything that looks remotely like a leak, they publish it, which can be something anyone made up. They are going to spread it around regardless, so they will be extremely unreliable.

As they get more popular, they get more leakers. More leakers means more fake ones, but also a few legit ones. As they leak more information they can start to see which leakers are reliable and which aren't. If they are smart enough, they'll start filtering out their leakers and their leaks. So they get more reliable over time.

It's one of the reasons I don't fully dismiss MLID, AdoredTV, RedGamingTech etc solely on their past track record. And MLID's reliability seems to have gone up quite a bit lately. He does like to overhype things or trash things, so, it's always good to remain skeptical. But there's a difference between skepticism and being dismissive.

As long as I have something before CP2077 launches then I'm ok.

It would be nice to have more power for Flight sim in the meantime but it's not make or break for me right now, it's still more than playable as is.

Now I'll just sit back and see what the reviews of the AIB cards bring.

thanks for the headsup! i really wanted the FE this time around, but either i was on the wrong side or the site was broken. i was on the product page for the FE and the button never changed from "notify me" lol

i got a MSI Ventus 3X from notebooksbilliger.de for 699€ and thanks to you got a zotac trinity for 699€. i have no idea when and if NBB will ship, but atleast amazon said it should be here by the 19th. :)

i will test them both and keep the one i like more. (if both get shipped lol)

Best Buy really needs to fuck off with this "out of stock" shit appearing after you hit Checkout. Can they not just hold the stock in your cart for a few seconds? Maybe it's just busted.
