I would be a lot more appreciative of Mika speaking out had she done so when it actually mattered. Kellyanne getting fired during the campaign would have fucked Trump up, but who gives a shit now that she barely shows up anymore? Trump could have fired her weeks ago and nobody would have noticed.

Well it's becoming clearer that there are too many people who genuinely believe backward bullshit so even though my monocle isn't falling from my face in surprise, it's at least a bit intriguing and unexpected to find someone in the Trump camp who not only slings shit but legit is disgusted by Trump.

The entire GOP goes along with this clown show because they get paid for it, they get rewarded for it in their jobs, and they're getting paid again down the line in terms of taxes and lucrative private sector jobs.
The odds of Trump having purposefully colluded with Russia in a quid pro quo to further its geopolitical interests are miniscule. It wouldn't be shocking for a person or two within the campaign infrastructure to have done so, but all they would have to do with Trump himself is dangle the carrot -- because he likes getting paid.

I don't even know if that'd be impeachable, and it certainly wouldn't prompt a resignation given his utter disregard for the appearance of impropriety. Not that the Russians care either way. Well, you could resign and then give an interview disclosing all of the bullshit in the Trump presidency. The Trump base will attack you and claim you're disgruntled or fishing for a paycheck through bookdeals, but you'll go from have zero credibility to the majority of people to having like, 10% credibility. Plus I guarantee you'll feel much better not having to lie and obfuscate truth constantly.

This article smells like a planted sympathy seed due to one specific phrase: "gonna get through this". Sean Spicer used that exact phrase after hiding in the bushes and that is not a coincidence. Something is wrong here, and whether this is coming from her or not, someone want you to believe it when in reality there's zero reason to. This is her actual job btw, making you play yourself into believing absolute crap.

I guess for them it restores some of their faith in humanity to know that people aren't so stupid. My faith in humanity is tanked though because instead of being stupid, we have people who are crude and shrewd to the point where they'll tout harmful bullshit knowing it's wrong. It makes me think of cult leaders and such who literally build armies of followers they can use and abuse just because they can benefit. Makes me sick to my stomach and depressed knowing that it'll be a motif that will continue in the future rather than just being the behavoir of one misguided moron.
