They'll just say that Clinton colluded with the Chinese and find some vague email about it and we're back to square one.

He’s not wrong though. Diehard Trump supporters will not be phased by ANYTHING Trump does. It’s only 30% of the country, but those dense mother fuckers will ride the Trump train into the depths of hell before they admit that he’s a fraud. He is their vehicle for finally ‘winning’ against the ‘liberal establishment’ after years of feeling marginalized and mocked, that is more powerful than anything Trump does outside of a nuclear winter.

Yes, look at the article I just posted. Trump's assistant of a couple dozen years and SVP of his corp is his suspected backchannel to Russia. Goldstone is absolutely acting as a liason in these emails. Its him that establishes who the lawyer is.

What I want to know is this:
if the GOP decides that this kind of collusion is fine.. what's to stop an unscrupulous 2020 Democratic campaign from saying, "Very well then. Hey, intel agencies of the world - HELP US OUT! Contact us with any and all oppo you can gather!"

Imagine a campaign that was {Russia + the GOP} versus {Most of the Rest of the World + Dems}.

I thought so. I'm not American, so I don't have a vested interest in this other than that of every other sane person in the western world, but this has that feeling of an "oh shit this is historic" event. Like, this is going to be a key moment in history books and is going to be remembered forever. I just want it to stick. I don't want this to fall aside like everything else so far and then people just move on, I want Trump embarrassed, ashamed, and removed from office. This feels like it could make it happen, and his son tweeted it out. It's baffling.

This shit is serious though. It needs to be taken seriously, even if others don't. Normalizing/accepting the current situation is a massive mistake. You will be on the wrong side of history.

I agree, I’m out normalizing it in any way, the media needs to pound away every day until there’s nothing left. I’m just agreeing that all of this does jack shit to change the mind of his most die hard supporters, though it’s not a huge deal because ultimately they’re not the ones who get to determine if he’s impeached or not.
