Yes and they knew everything. The russian lawyer said on video both of them were there. Kushner left after a few minutes and Manafort was there but looking at his phone the whole time.

There can't be that many people who had access to these emails. I hope at the end of all this we get to find out who was working on the inside leaking this info so we can give them a big, shiny medal. Then again, they'd probably need to go into witness protection. I guess it'll forever remain a mystery :/

When he posts it himself, he is confirming the NYTs report to be real and is just completely doubling down on "Yeah we did it, but we didn't get anything so it doesn't matter" angle. I'm sure that shit will work great with his base (who are already chanting Nothing Burger and trying to find the leakers on T_D. NSA and Comey are the big suspects, I kid you not..), but in an actual legal sense, he just made things much worse for himself.

These things move when they're ready to move. You don't announce anything unless you've prepared 100%; in other words, unless you're confident that you have enough to prove the case beyond reasonable doubt. It's clear there's a lot more they're investigating, so I think they plan to complete the investigation to whatever end.
