im just saying Ryback didnt have enough energy to do much else once he got to the top of the cage. Thats why they wrestled a 12 minute match where the majority of it was on the side shenanigans.
PGR4 is the best racer this gen.

They built Punk/Rock at RR months ago, Ryback was just a substitute for Cena. Nothing more nothing less. They took achance and failed. Give them props for at least giving him a chance.

I don't think anyone expected a clean finish in the Punk/Ryback match. I had no problem with the ending, but had problems with the quality and length of the match overall. I felt like it was just getting going when the finish came. They also barely used the cage. It's like the gimmick didn't need to be used at all, save for the post-match stuff on top, which could just as easily have been done inside the ring.
This is not the attitude era, you will never see AJ Lee in nothing but pasties, let that sink in. The dream is dead.

Well it's Ryback. Who expected a high quality match? I didn't therefore i'm not pissed. I saw exactly what i expected. With all the filler the PPV had i knew Ryback couldn't handle a 15-20 min action filled main event. You can't have 2 champions who can barely pass the 10 min mark.
And for a PG cell match it wasn't that horrible. In 2010 or 2011 i forget which one, there were literally 0 cell spots. I believe it was Orton/cena IIRC. Cage wasn't used at all.
That ref bump was pretty good imo. Clearly they didn't want Punk taking that bump they have long plans for him. Can't risk getting injured.

With the group I was watching it with it really was. I dug the ending. My heart stopped when they climbed the cage. I don't like any spots that high. Too many things can go wrong. No matter how well trained someone is I don't think it's worth the risk. Regardless my group enjoyed the show.
There's a difference between giving a guy an opportunity and handing one. Why is Ryback, who's only wrestled on tv for about two months total getting to main event a PPV? While people like Cody still can't get anywhere close to a main event slot. Ziggler feels like he's barely hanging onto one.
It is no different than following anyone's body of work. Besides that, I recall someone posted a near match for Layla once.
