So, here's how I'm sure HiaC WHC match will go.

Show beats Sheamus, gets knocked out, loses title to Ziggler cashing in within 45 seconds. Again.

Before Survivor Series, he accidently runs over Vickie, kayfabe killing her.

I would like to take this time to applaud Tensai for being too fat or sandbagging Ryback and taking away the only positive thing about him

Feud of the Week, for those who missed it;

Welcome to the Feud of the Week - I'm posting mine for this month a little early (Tuesday is when new ones 'release' but I figure I can sneak this out a day early so you guys can enjoy it) - we have a Feud set up for each week to discuss and watch. I'm not expecting too much from it - but if just one person pays attention to what we write (I've contacted others to contribute to this as well) then I'll consider it mission accomplished.

Feud of the Week for October 1-7th: The Freebirds vs the Von Erich Clan

In late 1982, Michael PS Hayes arrived in WCCW for a couple matches against the Von Erichs clan. The Von Erichs, the standard-bearers for good honest Texans and hometown favorites in WCCW, found an amazing amount of heat between themselves and Michael Hayes. Hayes picked up on it and they all worked a feud where Hayes was leaving WCCW, but coming back with his brother, Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy. They returned on Christmas night of 1982, as faces, helping the Von Erichs - teaming with David to win the WCCW Six-Man Tag Titles. Everyone was happy, and the Freebirds had made good with the Von Erichs.

This happened to be the night where Ric Flair was defending his NWA World Heavyweight Championship belt against Kerry Von Erich - in a steel cage match.

Flair was the underdog, what with the entire crowd being behind Kerry Von Erich to a ridiculous degree - and it was held in a cage, so there would be no interference. The fans got to pick a special guest referee/enforcer along with their ref, to ensure no foul play. Somehow, the fans picked Michael PS Hayes to be that enforcer. In an unbelievably telegraphed move, Hayes mentioned to the fans that they would have a "surprise present" for the Von Erichs, and the fans interpreted that as the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for Kerry that night.

The match itself between Flair and Kerry was good - unfortunately, the WWE has shut down virtually ALL of the videos showing it, which is a shame - because the end of the match turned into Hayes cheating to help Kerry win the championship--but Kerry wouldn't do it. In true Texas style, he didn't want to cheat to win - and refused to cover Flair, despite Hayes handing the title to him on a silver platter.

Hayes got mad, Hayes shoved Kerry, and it got messy. Kerry went to leave the match through the cage door, and in an incredible moment that you could HEAR in the crowd noise, Gordy slammed the cage door on Kerry's head and the crowd erupted. Due to blood loss, Kerry could not continue the match, and lost his chance at the title.

This kicked off a hell of a feud that lasted many years, pitting the Freebirds against the entire Von Erich clan. Arenas would sell out weekly for roughly the next decade, in the same arenas.

Here's a few matches from their feud - in case you couldn't tell, the crowd was hot, super hot about this entire feud and feeling the emotion from the crowd really elevated both groups - Hayes and Gordy on the Freebirds' end played their parts perfectly, and the Von Erichs playing the good ol' boys that the crowd LOVED. It was truly a hellacious feud.

Every wrestler walks around in their gear. You never know when you're going to have a match. All these suit wearing freaks are doing it wrong.

Watched the replay of the show, and by god was that debate terrible. Sheamus has got such a terrible character. It's like Vince just copy and paste Cena's terrible form into another guy. What's with the constant attempts at comedy? Awful.

Only things that make the show watchable is these new teams and the tournament. Rey-Sin Cara and Rhodes-Sandow are great. The other matches consist of guys who have titles or in the midst of a push (Miz, Ryback, Cesaro) beating guys we know have zero chance of winning. Hopefully Cesaro's push can go higher than those two bums, though.

Ryback yelled out stupid or whatever after the botch. Was he calling Tensai stupid or was that just him yelling out in frustration?

When will you people learn. Sheamus and Cena are heel's, you should view them as such.

Sheamus was the perfect heel yesterday, he was taunting and bullying and he pushed all the right buttons to piss the gentle giant of. Sheamus is one of the best heel's on the roster. #respect.

Tensai doesn't come off as a guy who would purposely sandbag. He seems like an honest in-ring worker. That botch was all Ryback I think.

First time I was watching on TV it looked like Tensai was sandbagging lol, he really isn't helping at all being so awkward and limp, it looks stupid.

You watch the Goldberg one and the Giant is helping all he can pushing off the thigh etc to make it look awesome. But in the end its gotta take power, and that he had no problems with. I have a feeling Goldberg woulda done Tensai no probs.... Rybotch's roids must of been wearing off since Smackdown!!

Speaking off, here's that one to compare:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_IY1tJAzI4&t=3m0s

Just for the record I really hate his move to begin with, walking and falling backwards like he slipped on a banana peel does not hit me with zomg look at the impact!!!!! type thing. :|

Ring of Honor has released two new great compilation DVDs......must haves for many here:

Their rivalry is one of epic proportions in the history books of Ring of Honor. From their first meeting in the spring of 2006 until their final ROH match in the fall of 2009, Bryan Danielson and Nigel McGuinness engaged in one of the most legendary series of matches ROH had ever seen, or will likely ever see again.
They were two men driven by a mutual love of professional wrestling and a competitive desire to constantly prove who was the better man. McGuinness and Danielson collided in an unforgettable quartet of matches in 2006 while the former reigned as ROH Pure Champion and the latter as World Champion, highlighted by an intense Title Unification match in front of Nigel's home country.
The rivalry was renewed in the following years with Nigel in the role of defending champion, they even stepped into the ring as allies in pursuit of the ROH World Tag Titles, and through it all developed a respect for one another both as wrestlers and as men.
This 2-Disc collection contains every one-on-one meeting between the two sure-fire ROH Hall of Famers and as an added bonus to the set, it also contains several other tag matches featuring McGuinness & Danielson including their tag title challenge against Jay & Mark Briscoe from “Race to the Top Tournament Night 1" and their ROH vs. Pro Wrestling NOAH dream tag team match against Takeshi Morishima & Naomichi Marufuji from "United We Stand".
The head-to-head matches included on this set are from Weekend of Champions Night 2, Generation Now, their Title Unification Match from “Unified”, Epic Encounter II, Driven, Survival of the Fittest 2007, their epic World Title Clash from “6th Anniversary Show”, Battle of the Best, Rising Above 2008, and their mutual final ROH match from “Glory by Honor VIII: The Final Countdown”. This is the story of one of the most epic rivalries in ROH history. This is Danielson vs. McGuinness: The Complete Collection.
Disc 1
1. Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness (ROH Title Vs. Pure Title)...Weekend of Champions Night 2 4/29/06

13. Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness (ROH World Title Match)...Rising Above 2008 11/22/08
14. Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuinness...Glory By Honor VIII 9/26/09

Some seriously amazing matches here. If you have never seen Daniel Bryan in ROH, this is the disc to get (unless they release one with all or most of his title defenses). This was probably his best feud in Ring of Honor so enjoy.

“The greatest team in the history of wrestling, If you think other then prepare for the reckoning”

That's just a taste of the lyrics that led Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli out to the ring with the ROH World Tag Team Titles strapped to their waists for a record-setting 363 days. Starting with their reunion at “Final Battle 2009” at the expense of Jay & Mark Briscoe, The Kings of Wrestling quickly established themselves as a powerhouse in ROH's already stacked tag team ranks.

Over the course of their year-long rivalry with The Briscoes, Hero & Claudio proved themselves as capable of technical tag team wrestling as they were at getting bloody and violent. Their contests against teams such as Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin, The American Wolves, and The Young Bucks demonstrated a dominance unlike any the division had ever seen, and they will forever be mentioned as one of the greatest teams in ROH's history.
This 2-Disc set presents 14 of The KoW's complete matches, plus highlights and more! With Hero's KO Elbows & Claudio's unparalled power, you will see how it wasn't hyperbole when they said...”Kings Reign Supreme”!

If you have never seen the Kings of Wrestling (Antonio Cesario (Claudio Castagnoli) & Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero)) together, this is a great dvd set. One of the better indie tag teams of recent years and I really hope WWE puts them together on Raw.

Ryback's finisher looks difficult to assist properly for these much fatter guys. He's lifting the opponent's one leg off the ground and hooking it, so Tensai can only give the assist by pushing/jumping up with one leg. Tensai's arms are draped over Ryback, so he can't help push with his arms.

After having to job to Ryback twice on TV .. I'd sandbag it too ;)

He did it cleanly and with power on Smackdown. No reason why he couldn't do it on RAW.

Ryback needs to do this on ..

In honor of PAC being signed to the WWE, Dragon Gate USA have released one of his matches for free:

https://hotfile.com/dl/174604879/8c781cf/DGUSA-Pac_Yoshino-Ricochet_Doi.wmv.html

Pac & Masato Yoshino vs Ricochet & Naruki Doi

This match was the main event at United Philly and was a part of the Round Robin Tag Team Tournament that was taking place at the time. As with any Dragon Gate USA main event, this was an amazing match and you should all download it.

Just looking at the names listed on the RAW card is just so boring. Everyone there is so uninteresting except for like Sandow.

Matt Bloom is also freakishly huge. Like, he's not as tall as Shaq or Andre or Big Show, but his frame is. He's a legit 6'7 or 6'8 I think, but his frame is something you'd expect from a girthy 7 footer

Guys, i know what i want out of the encore storyline. They win the tag titles, hire Otunga to represent them so they can defend the belts via the freebirds rules and remake the bad street usa video with slater doing his best Hayes imitation. Tell me you wouldn't want this

Now where the hell is Dean Ambrose!

According to F4W Online, Vince told Michael Cole to drop his heel persona and to be a straight play-by-play man again. He was told specifically last night to not say anything remotely offensive about Jim Ross.

Guessing this was posted, but Vince's speech to JR after RAW went off the air:

http://www.wwe.com/videos/jim-ross-appreciation-night-part-2-wwecom-exclusive-oct-1-2012-26056540

So, legit or just for show? For a guy he's giving props to, they sure like to make fun of him and put him in bad situations over the years. I remember when they did the draft and JR was drafted to Smackdown and they didn't even tell him.

Maybe King's heart attack has soften Vince's stance on being an asshole to a lot of the guys who have been with the business for years.
