Now we've got:

Ring of Honor
Impact Wrestling
Dragon Gate USA
Evolve
Combat Zone Wrestling
Shimmer
Chikara
$5 Wrestling Live
Kaiju Big Battel
Extreme Rising
Pro Wrestling Syndicate

and probably some more names to be announced running WM weekend.

That is at least eleven different promotions running shows in the New York area during Wrestlemania weekend. ELEVEN. I remember when it was just Ring of Honor doing amazing supercards those weekends.

I knew I forgot one, add BLOW (Bombshell Ladies of Wrestling (this is totally not a porn company)) to the list running Wrestlemania weekend.

12 fucking promotions piggybacking WWE.

You know why so many are doing Mania next year don't you? It's NYC. It's not like most major places where if you have one or two wrestling shows on a night you probably run out of venues willing to host wrestling. They've got NYC and New Jersey to work with to locate venues and there are plenty possibilities in the area and plenty of fans to go to them all.

It's also worth noting that seven of those are a part of a convention and are sharing one venue for the whole weekend.....but that still leaves five other promotions looking for venues.

I'd be ok with a total reboot. I don't think it could last, though. Everything would be back to status quo within a few weeks. A month at the most.

I don't think you will ever get a complete reboot with Vince. I was listening to an interview with someone the other day (think it was HBK) where they where saying that he slowburned the attitude era because he thought people wouldn't accept wholesale change all at once. I do think he is tiring of Cena though. Cena has been on top longer than anyone since Hogan really and the product is fairly stagnant with him at the helm. I think (hope) he will start winding down after Mania and start putting a few guys over in big matches.
