Here is a new round of some quick Rift game/demo impressions. I'm now over two weeks of having my Rift and I'm still not tired of it. The wow factor is still there for me if the demo or game is impressive enough. The early nauseousness that I was getting is nonexistent now and can even enjoy the crazy speeds of Half Life 2 while holding steady through long framerate drops. Anyways here's the impressions:

A must have for people who don't have extended displays. This makes your desktop display completely viewable in the Rift. Be sure to turn off the headtracking and turn on the mouse navigation otherwise it could interfere with the headtracking in some games. There's lots of customization options here to make it easier on the eyes. Also there seems to be a glitch on my end where double mouse pointers could appear on the screen, but other than that this a go to tool for those having issues with getting set up with extended displays.
Super Mega Mega
Link
Pretty damn cool 4.5D platformer. It's a sidescrolling platformer/shooter that takes place in a cylinder in which you can look around. It's a little flawed at times but can potentially be the "must-have" Super Rift Boy game if it gets more polished up. Definitely a good inspiration to show how the classic sidescroller can also be become new experiences in VR as well. This is one of those games that should be near the top of your "VR try out" lists.

Already stated my thoughts in an
earlier post. I do feel that this should be a requisite demo for anyone trying out the Rift that wants a more gamelike, yet less stressful experience. Simple yet elegant visual style, soothing music, and an overall well polished Rift demo. High recommendation.
Trial of the Rift Drifter
Link
Very creative tech demo where you are put on trial and must answer questions with 'YES' or "NO' nods. Lots of nice little touches here and has a cool visual style. There's multiple endings as well depending on your answers. Well worth checking out for something unique. Would be something fun to test out with people.
Lunar Flight

I've already put in over 3 hours into this. It's pretty difficult at first, but the atmosphere, music, and excellent Rift interface keeps me coming back and wanting to master its mechanics. While the OR support is still in beta, this is probably the best overall full fledged gaming experience on the Rift.
Greeble
Link
An early tech demo, music visualizer where you're floating through a white abyss filled with pulsating spherical objects. It's very early and limited, but the visuals and music is very nice. It's an unique experience that's good for a one time whirl.
Hoasca VR Psychedelic Experience
Link
I was pretty 'meh' on this, but that might've been because I wasn't on the required hallucinogens. Basically you're given the option of about 8 psychedelic rooms to go into and trip out. At this stage I only found about two of the rooms enjoyable to look at. The creator is planning a lot more so I may check this out at a later iteration.
Attack of the Boulders
Link
This is still in the very early stages and doesn't quite feel like a game yet. Still, the old school vector graphics plus the responsive headtracking here really make this pop. Worth checking out for the visual aesthetic alone. Would love to see a vector Tempest on this.
Quake

I really wasn't feeling this in Rift form. At the time I was playing it the speed made me feel a little uneasy. It didn't feel quite fully adapted to the Rift to me. But like many other old games adapted to the Rift, even age old 3d graphics feel like new in it. Even though I wasn't particularly feeling this game, that doesn't mean I don't want more old games to be retrofitted to this.
Logistics

A simple game where you have to chuck Rift orders into the appropriately colored trucks. The idea is cute but I felt it was a little too chaotic and a bit glitchy at the moment to be enjoyable for me.
Surgeon Simulator 2013
Link
While this has official Rift support I feel there's still some things to be ironed out here (for
example the headtacking can gradually lose its original position). I really enjoyed the game's morbid sense of humor but this really is meant to be played with a Razor Hydra. With a mouse and keyboard I felt a surgeon who just performed a self lobotomy right before going into an operation. May want to hold off if on it you don't have a Hydra.
Oculus Tetris
Link
Obviously someone was bound to port Tetris to this. While it plays just like what you'd expect, I found it visually a bit unappealing to be a fully enjoyable Tetris experience. Give me something with a bit more Russian inspired in atmosphere.
Rift Racer
Link
While I haven't tried iRacing yet I did get to fool around with this tech demo. Without a wheel the 360 controls are a little awkward to play with. It's pretty amusing to attempt to drive through a loop and the feeling of the world go upside down on you. Pretty much feels like a tech demo driving game and nothing more.
First Law
Link
Very solid tech demo where you piloting a spaceship. Here you can spawn several enemy ships to battle against. What makes this works is the strong use of color, spot on headtracking, and very responsive controls. Love going back to this every now and then.
Zombies on the Holodeck
Link
As someone who enjoys the classic B&W b-movies, the visual aesthetic here hits home. As far as the game goes I felt it was rather clunky with the 360 controller so it might be better played with the Hydra. Didn't play too much of this because of that, but it's something different visually to view at in the Rift.
