Mike Works said:How the hell was that not a flagrant foul?? I don't care what league or game you're playing, slew footing a player like that is disgraceful. Stern should be fining Duncan 100k, not Gundy.
Disgusting.
bionic77 said:Who is going to beat San Antonio in a 7 game series?
The only team I can see doing it is Detroit, and I still think San An is the better team.
The only team they have lost to in like a 100 years is the Lakers and a big part of that was that the Lakers just owned the Spurs mentally.

What discernable skills does Kenyon Martin have? Besides being a decent post defender (and a strong finisher), what exactly can he do? He's like a very poor man's Amare Stoudemire.
BatiGOOOOOOL said:Kenyon Martin is a worthless waste of space in a basketball court. He will need severe psychological attention after Wednesday with all the scars from the multiple times TD has fucked with his mind.

Only the Lakers could pull that shit off. Never forget 0.4.
Stern went on to call Van Gundy the first NBA "perpetrator" he could ever remember who did not cooperate with a league investigation, and he likewise put no boundaries on the next round of penalties Van Gundy could face if he doesn't answer the league's questions.

And isn't it nice that every year in the NBA playoffs there are tons of problems with the officiating and yet Stern does nothing but hand out fines and make tyranical threats? I hope Stern pays another visist to Arco next season, we'll make him the founding soil for the new arena.
I swear it's like the fucking mafia going after a rat.

RealGM, WizFans Motivate Dixon As Washington Ties Series
RealGM - Juan Dixon followed a 1 for 10 performance on Saturday with 35 points on Monday to help the Wizards even the series at two games a piece. Gilbert Arenas chipped in 23 points in the 106-99 victory.
Dixon was apparently inspired by the Message Board occupied by both RealGM.com and WizFans.com, where they have a thread that a friend showed him which is titled, "The Amazingly Sucky Juan Dixon Thread." The thread can be read here, while a mp3 of the interview, provided by forum member Broohaha, is available for review here.
"I definitely wanted to throw that back in their face," Dixon said after the game.
Dixon was tipped off to the board by a close friend.
All I read here was "hate hate hate...2001...hate hate hate *sob* hate hate hate...buy I sure wish my team had a real 2-guard like Wade."bionic77 said:I can't see Miami ever beating the Spurs. They just aren't in the same class IMHO.
Now if Shaq goes back in time to 2001 they have a chance, but that shit ain't happening.
If it is Miami/Spurs, watch Wade become ordinary against their defense. The role players won't get shit. And Shaq's 25 a game won't be nearly enough to pull it out.

You must not be looking forward to a whole playoffs's worth of endless bragging and trash-talk and Shaq Facts from me and the rest of the Heat faithful this year, are you?:lol
PEACE.
Incognito said:Sonics can easily beat the Spurs in a 7 game series. If it weren't for the fact Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Radmanovic and Nate MicMilllan missed the last two games the Sonics would have swept the Spurs.
That's a fact. The Spurs simply don't have any defenders to guard Lewis and Radmanovic. Ray Allen is tough enough as it is, providing Bruce Bowen doesn't employ his usual thuggery against All-Star type level players. Honestly, when they face each other, I'm hoping Fortson cracks Bowen right upside his grill -- just to serve notice.
