I wonder what he is going to do if they don't win the championship....

What a bunch or sorry bastards.
Cloudy said:Win or lose, why would he not re-sign? There are like 3 good teams in the East (if you count Indiana with Artest) and he can coast to the end of his career there while winning a title if Duncan or Ben Wallace gets injured :lol

PS: He's under contract for next year btw...
Sunshine Network has the best pair of announcers on the planet. I don't know their names, they are just that good.FrenchMovieTheme said:marv alberts and doug collins are the only true top-notch announcers around. tom tolbert is fucking terrible
bill walton is a hilarious announcer, but i don't hear him very often anymore.
Look at those names you listed. Stack is a career loser. Robinson fell off the map. Van Horn...let's not talk about journeyman token whiteboy Rick Van Horn. How he's still collecting an NBA paycheck is beyond me. I got more fucking game than Van Horn. And C-Webb is a hollow shell of former choke-aholic self. Are any of those guys names that spring to mind when you think of championship-building?etiolate said:Watching these playoffs I realize how very few announcers I can enjoy that are out there. John Thompson only has a job so he can suck off players he use to coach.
"If you give Allen someone else who can score he'll adjust his game"
Really? Because Philly has tried that with Stackhouse, Glenn Robinson, Van Horn and now Webber and none of them worked.
And who else is there? Kerr? Spurs homer. Jack Ramsey? Captain Obvious. AL Michaels? Go back to football. Mike Torico? Is that you Orin? There's like a handful I can listen to now. Kevin Harlan, Tom Tolbert and Doug Collins.
Ugh, Detroit (Piston and Red Wing) fans suck ass. Stern needs go to medieval them.SKluck said:I can't believe the crowd was cheering when he was limping. Fucking assholes.
AI is a good guy. One tough sumbitch.
Whoa! First I'm hearing of this. I thought The Heat was waiting to exercise that option on his contract. I love Shaq, but I don't know if he's worth the money right now. But to his credit, he single-handedly brought Heat basketball to a whole other level. If you're down here in Miami, you know what I mean. Since Day 1 of that trade, there has been endless Shaq love, and the championship talk was in full swing. Wade and the role players have been the ones to step up this year, but it's no question that Shaq is the reason for this great boost in confidence. We could probably do well next year without him, but that would be an insult IMO. For what he's done in just this season, I think he deserves to leave on his own terms. Even a hobbled, end-of-career Shaq is still an incredible bonus to this team and this city. Viva La Shaq!!! PEACE.Cloudy said:I think he excercised his option during the trade somehow. Miami owes him 30.5 mil next year according to realgm and it's not listed as a player option...

bionic77 said:He is under contract but I think he has the option to leave after this one.
You have to be crazy to think that half the teams in the league are not going to do everything to get Shaq after this season. Will he leave Miami? I have no idea, but I could see him leaving if someone could offer him something better.
