Dang bionic, that sounded like a Konex Trade right there. You sure his crazyness isnt getting to you?

I always talk crazy when the Lakers suck. Losing makes you do crazy things.

Like when I used to say Cedric Ceballos was going to be the next Magic Johnson. :lol

Edit: Marv Albert on the Suns/Mavs game: "The defense just got sucked out of the building!"

:lol My friend went to Cedric's basketball camp. Cedric never even showed up, he thought he was too big for it I guess.

When will the Lakers retire his #23? He was the Lakers post-Showtime superstar!

He is not good enough as a Laker to get his jersey retired, but I will say that he is probably the greatest player to wear that number. :D

Pacers were never a bad team. They've just had to scramble to find their game this season with all the bullshit with the injuries and suspensions. I figured this Pacer/Pistons series would either be a sweep, or a 6 game series. They've always thrived on the hostility of the palace as well. It's such a farce that I find myself praising the archenemy of my team, but they've got some good players. And Detroit has a habit of going dead cold when they get big leads. It never fails.

The smilie and avatar together make it ok.

Would anyone willingly have a Jordan avatar if they weren't a diehard fan?

Edit: Didn't Konex say Dampier would suck tongiht? :lol

The fix is in they are calling a flagrant foul on the Mavs. The dude flipped himself when he grabbed the rim.

I knew the refs would take control sooner or later. Stern will not let the Suns lose in the 2nd round :lol

Still bitter he wanted out of Toronto?
The fuck?! Nobody hates Toronto more than me, ask Shinobi. :lol

Not every superstar has to be a fiery competitor who cries after a loss. Besides, it's not like T-Mac isn't used to be surrounded by mediocrity, he witnessed plenty of it in Toronto and Orlando. If he hasn't learned to shrug it off by now, he never will.
And that's why he's a 2nd tier star. The great competitors ALWAYS take losses hard - you think if Ben Wallace was T-Mac's teammate and he saw Tracey smiling after a loss that he wouldn't bitch slap him back to high school? The worst thing the Raptors ever did was get rid of Oakley before he could turn Vince and Tracey into men. Great athletes, tremendous talents, yet soft as sugar when it counts.

If Suns lose, it's cos Nash was shooting too much at the end. Getting abused by Terry on the other end didn't help either...

They won't lose though. They will hit some 3s and win. Just watch :lol

Naw, I think Sam Perkins or Nick Van Exel were the biggest post-Showtime superstars for LA.

Van Exel was beginning to get big, but then Kobe came to town...

It's in the bag Mavs win.

The Mavs need to fucking move. When they pass to Dirk the Sun double him, that means there is a guy left open. That man should break to the basket for a pass/rebound, or run to an open area for the pass.

I don't think they can take 2 at Dallas after the Mavs have tasted victory. Also, we need to know JJ's status for the next game...

He has like 4 days to recover. The whole second half it seemed like the suns were ready to blow it open then they would miss 2 layups in a row or an open 3. Dallas cant hang with them. :)

nash missed 2 wide open 3's down the stretch, and Q missed the open 3 at the buzzer. if the mavs need to depend on missed open 3's by the suns to win i dont think they will go far in this series

Mavs were lucky to escape with that win. Props to Dirk for that big shot, though. Did they say what was wrong with JJ on Inside the NBA? Concussion? It just looked like he hit his head hard, nothing some stitches wouldn't take care of.

fractured an orbital bone, but the thing that is going to keep him out of game 3 is likely to be the concussion.
