fractured an orbital bone, but the thing that is going to keep him out of game 3 is likely to be the concussion.
That makes sense, he hit the floor really hard. It wasn't pretty.

Anyhow, good game. I'm glad the Mavs didn't totally choke. :lol :-( Dirk is the friggin man. Also, dampier showed up a little tonight, which earned him a little "d". If he strings together another 2 games like yesterday, I'll give him the big "D" back, otherwise it's going back to a "_".

I can't wait for Friday.

You're right! Finley had a great game!
12-18 shooting, 5-6 from downtown, 6 assists, 2 steals, and 31 points.

Wow, figured that Prince woulda been 1st team for his insane hustle alone. Those long arms put him over the top IMO. PEACE.

Good choices, but Prince should've made first team over Hughes imo. And Kirk Hinrich is a MUCH better defender than Chauncey Billups, and certainly better than present-day Kidd-- he should've been on there somewhere.

No way, dude! Bowen is a cheapass motherfucker, what is he doing there?

Congrats to Timmy and Bruce, anchors of the best defense in the league. :)

Also, there's 6 players on the 2nd team because Kidd and Wade were tied in the voting.

Maybe Buss isn't as dumb as the media makes him out to be....
Riiiight. Who's watching the playoffs from home again? :lol I'll say it again. A hobbled Shaq >>>>>>>> *. You can really only place a Tim Duncan over him as far as valuable big men. And once again, enjoy the mediocrity. It looks good in purple and yellow. :lol PEACE.

Just turned on the game and just read the article at miami's website.. .no Shaq tonight... that hasn't necessarily stopped the Heat from winning so it'll be interesting to see what they do tonight....

Gonzo's back in fine form. He'll fill in fine for tonight. Hope Shaq doesn't make this a regular thing in the next couple rounds though. Those are the important ones. PEACE.

EDIT: We can win this game no problem, as long as Wade doesn't Kobe the game to the other team. He tries to do too much at times, and he doesn't have to. He's got a very good supporting cast. He's gotta realize now there's not a double-team down low every play, so he's gonna be running into more roadblocks and thus turning the ball over more if he continues to try too hard.

Wade's made some questionable decisions so far but they are playing ok... no Shaq and the only reason that the quarter ends with the Wiz up is a dumb foul by Wade IMO.

Nice spark by Wade on that dunk, just threaded them.....

-edit-

Damn the Wizards can't even beat the Heat's bench! :lol

EDIT:

Wizards with the come back... they've turned the Heat in to a perimeter shooting team... a BAD perimeter shooting team!

Damn Damon Jones is killin em.

Haslem and Wade putting this game away.

You gotta love the refs in Miami's pocket tonight. The weakass fouls to start the 3rd just killed the Wiz. And how about Wade travelling all over the place and no call when he shoves Hughes outta the way after being stripped to call TO :lol

Seems like Stern is determined to get the Heat to the Finals. Spurs are the only hope :D

Your theory would hold water Kobex if it weren't for the fact that the Heat will destroy the Wiz no matter what the calls. :lol

Probably just more indicative of the sorry state of officiating in the NBA in general.

Oh I agree but w/o Shaq, they were gonna take this game but after the half, refs let the Heat do whatever they wanted while putting the Wiz in the penalty in like 2 minutes. The calls all went Miami's way tonight...and pretty blatantly...

Gotta love a Fakers fan talking about refs in people's pockets. :D LA/Sac game 7, 2001; LA/Minny game 4 2003. 'Nuff said. :p

The Sonics "thugs" are such losers. Manu gets knocked down and he just gets right back up and goes to the line. He won't stop and they'll eventually get ejected.

Did you watch the same game? You must be out of your...wait a minute...nm. Keep hating, you're fueling this championship drive. Nobody beats the Wiz except the Heat. We sweep next game and Shaq-daddy gets a bit more rest, as does Wade and DJ. Preparing for the Pistons. PEACE.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed, but Brad Nesler has probably put in the worst announcing jobs I have ever seen. The diatribe he just went on against Ginobili "acting" (when he tripped, hitting his face on the floor) was disgusting. If you flop, you're not gonna flop so you fall on your face. Beyond that, he's just been making a lot of incredibly stupid statements ("why haven't they moved Duncan off Jerome James yet???").

goddamit, Griese!
is there any more hatable player in the NBA than Ray Allen? just once, shut the fuck up you little bitch. still talking shit as he's walking to the bench.
fucking prick.

Haha, intense white guys in business suits giving high fives and angry black guys in the crowd flicking off the other team as the announcers calmy give their analysis :lol Love it. Oh, and Tim Duncan... he's just not a clutch guy. I wouldn't go to him at the end of a game. Should have been given back to Ginobli if possible for the J.

ray allen is a little bitch. he walks into shutdown city (bowen), and all he can do is bitch and moan.

p.s. sonics were incredibly lucky to win that game. i would say maybe the spurs need to spend more time practicing FT's, but i think it's mental at this point
