Bobcats are going on vacation to Fiji in April. MJ's gift to the team for rattling off 30 straight wins. We'll be back just in time to sweep Miami.

66-16 to the promised land baby!

Wolves are gonna win 40??

The correct answer would have been "The Mavs are only going to with 33 games?"

<3 RC

The draft should make or break a lot of teams this year..

Surely the Warriors can get Paul for something similar to Baron for Speedy Claxton and Dale Davis. I suggest CJ Watson and Magette/Crawful

Al has lost weight, so maybe he'll play defense now. Love will be better. Foye's in a contract year. 3 first round picks. Kahn actively trying to move our expiring contracts (Mike Miller!) for someone who can contribute. Should be a good year.

I really hope someone is on the phone with McHale right now from Charlotte trying to get Miller and a pick switch with you guys.

Only 8 different franchises have won the NBA title in the last 30 (!!) seasons. Let's hear it for parity!

Lakers (9), Bulls (6), Spurs (4), Celtics (4), Pistons (3), Rockets (2), Heat (1), 76ers (1)

Stole this from another forum...

Nice work Lakers. *golf clap* No complaints here, just got beat. Boston has maybe one more year in their window and the Cavs aren't going to do shit against Orlando, so I'd wager this won't be the last time you see that team in the Finals.

The only shitty part is that these pointless Kobe "debates" are open again.

David Kahn said he isn't trading the lottery pick.

Miller + 18 for 12.

Rockets are gonna get Turkoglu and Gortat... and Ariza and Odom
Why would Gortat go to Houston to play 12mpg when he can sign with any number of clubs for the same money and play 24+mpg?

Laker-age, congratulations.
LA Lakers...whatever.

Knicks-age is coming. We lie in wait for 2010, when we begin our glorious resurgence and become as insufferable as Yankees-age. We will crush your teams, break your coalitions, raze your homes and destroy your spirits.

With every beat of Eddy Curry's irregular heart, we march closer to future victory!

Im interested to see what the Heat can do in the offseason.. I wonder if they have enough Cap room to persuade Turkeygloo. Wade desperatly needs a second shooter on his team.

Also interested to see what will happen to Sheed, AI, and what if any changes the Cavs will make this offseason.

It's not just parity.

AP is reporting that Chris Wallace is considering a deal from the Lakers that would send Marc Gasol and the #2 pick to LA for a photo of Sasha with the LOB Trophy (signature optional).

Parade starts at 11am, on figueroa, ends at the coliseum (Doors there open at 9:30). I'll prolly leave for the coliseum at 8. Is that too early?

Besides Kobe barely getting any PT for his first two seasons and being 18 when he began his career, he also played in an era with overall less scoring than during the prime of MJ's 30+ppg seasons. This is why his careerscoring average isn't higher. You guys talk a lot of shit on your pedestals but really don't know what's up.

Actually I think you're the delusional one. I think Kobe's great but you're just riding a high.

lol no way

but knowing us, we'd do it and then draft Ellington :(

I was being sarcastic, that almost half the number of franchises that have won in every other sport over the same time period. Funny how the same franchises are always good in basketball.

I don't think Turk really fits with our team...wait, our? Who are you? Pledge your allegiance now!

It's how Stern wants it.

I know you were being sarcastic, I was saying that in other sports the quantity of champions is higher than in basketball for reasons other than parity. For example a higher susceptibility to random events.

This basically. If any sport is extremely easy to predict for a seven game series, it's basketball.

CRACK??

Lets get some points straight..

1. The NBA did close to everything during the past 9 years to increase scoring.
2. If MJ played in an era of no Handchecks, he would probably average 38ppg for his career.
3. Kobe never had to face teams like the Pistons, the Knicks, the Heat which were pure physical defensive teams.

Kobe is great, but sorry He is not Jeffrey Great.
