dude, you always get me. :lolTamanon said:Jeff George wasn't available so we couldn't use Minnesota's plan.

As an outsider, I never heard that before. But now, whenever I watch the Vikings and see a shot of him, my mind shouts out Chilly!

I all fairness, Brady did the same thing against me the other night.:lolLonestar said:
I am sure he will empty the bank, but what amazing free agents are going to be available next year?LiveWire said:
Snyder can use all the money he's squeezing out of 72-year-old bankrupt grandmother lifelongs to pay for the best of every position!

Redskins already have Haynesworth who is more talented (though probably also more injury prone).harSon said:Casey Hampton?![]()

chuckddd said:The Steelers won't even think about matching a big offer for an older player. EVER. Heck, they underpaid Hines Ward last time he was due a new contract. Luckily, Hines decided that rings were more important than his bank account. What a true Steeler. I LOVE THAT MAN!
There are a ton of talented players on defense and offense for the Steelers. It is almost impossible to sign all of those guys and stay under the cap. This shouldn't be a shock, this has been the Steelers MO for the last 20 years. They use you until you get too expensive (unless you are a guy who can't be let go) and they let you go and let the guy who was drafted to replace you a few years earlier step in.DeaconKnowledge said:Is there something i'm missing besides that Article? harSon said:Well, we have a whole bunch of people up for free agency next year.
We've signed Hines Ward, Heath Miller, James Harrison, Max Starks, and Brett Kiesel to extensions. That leaves Willie Parker, Ryan Clark, Jeff Reed, Justin Hartwig, Willie Colon, and Casey Hampton.

How many have you won in the past 10 years ?? Now Ask your self how many Championships has the City of Baltimore won ??LiveWire said:I'm sorry, how many NFL Championships does your team have?
The Cards seem to always get there act together for the past 3 years after the 1st 3 games.BakedPigeon said:I have zero faith in the cardinals going into this 49ers game. They have played piss poor this pre-season, even when there starting offense took the field. NFC championship repeat run is out of the question at this point until they can prove they can even score a fucking touchdown.

Seth from Jacksonville
The Titans say Matt Jones would fit well in their system and are working on signing him. What is different about their system from that of the Jaguars that makes him fit well?
Vic: I guess they throw the ball higher.
