Alright, where the fuck is
the last piece of Captain Dread's Treasure? I swear I've been all over the fucking Island of Doom 10 times and neither me or my dog have found it.

I don't know what order you got your chests in, but my last one was here:
At the place where you have to dive to go down, don't dive. if you move to your left you'll see that dive turns into vault. If you jump there, you'll land on a small piece of land with a chest. It's hard to miss though because all you think about is diving in. hope this is the one you're missing.

There I was, strolling along, playing catch with my doggy, when FUCK the console locks up and RROD's on me.

Fable 2 owned my Xbox with its awesomeness.

Ouch.
I just got my copy, pray for me kids.

My understanding is the blue veins are simply from using Will a lot... I don't think that is a byproduct of being good but I could be wrong? I'm good and use a lot of magic so I can't confirm personally, but that was the impression I got during the game.
Yeah I'm 100% evil, always have been, but my veins have a bright blue glow about them. Although there are also red veins because I'm evil.

I didn't realise the game wouldn't overwrite my first hero when I started a new game!

Seems like you can have 6 heroes all saved up in case any DLC quests require specific decisions/endings.

Thank you:D . Sure would have been nice if my dog would have told me. Time to teach him a lesson.

I was bust the last couple of days but itching to get back.

Picked up at the spire and man what a bunch of turmoil I had there, when I got back I setted down for the first time, I needed to. On arriving I must have played with old Scamp for 10 mins then off to be a family man for a while.:lol

So I married Alex from the
rookridge ghost quest
, have a couple kids, but it seems like I can't be away from town for more than 20 minutes without her being unhappy and threatening divorce! I don't want to end the relationship and lose my kids, is there any way I can make her less demanding? Also, I think my kid is broke, he doesn't react to any of my expressions or when I give him gifts, and his love/hate bar doesn't change either.

Also even though my character is neutral to good, everyone in the towns calls me a mass murderer and what not just because I
killed all the temple of shadow members after I got back from the Spire and had ignored the Temple of Light/Shadows quests before.

1: Bigger allowance / better house.
2: They will for a while, as you do other quests they'll forget about it.

Wait, what? If I let my sister play..and she saves, it will overwrite my save file? There's not more than 1 save file? :(

He said wouldn't.

You can have 6 chars per gamertag (or at least that's how it appears).

Did I miss something? Like a character creation screen? I see people posts all these different characters. Does the look just depend on how you play the game? Sorry if this is a noob question.

all depends on how you play the game. different actions and choices affect your appearance. ie. if you're 100% pure you get a halo. eating lots of pies and meats will make you fat. leveling up melee stuff, like physique will make you have more muscles, etc. ranged weapony skills make you taller, magic gives you the glowing blue lines on your body. there's some other things as well that happen and have effects too.

You can change your hair, facial hair and clothing and your appearance changes somewhat according to your actions. It's pretty limited though.

Ok that is what I figured. I just started. This game is about to be sick. One more question. I bought the Collectors Edition but I don't understand how to get access to the bonus material like the MC armor etc.

Where is this house?

For everyone complaining about how they can't walk freely in towns anymore without everyone following you cause they love you. Just buy houses/shops, and raise the rent/prices. Every time you get your rent/income, they'll get mad +1. After some while, the love is gone...

Also, I'm already far in a game. I did the internet games on the fable2.com site to get the 3 extra items, but when I logged out, and logged in again, there was nothing in the chest in the Guild Cave. Ideas?

free house behind the demon door there.

Ahh. I was really confused because I already have a house in oakfield and theirs nothing like that (the mill house is right by the water).

What's the requirements for the door?

I want to take a pic of my dude, but its dark, flash makes it unviewable and ma hands are too shakey when i have flash disabled : (

One of the easier ones. Propose to a NPC in front of it, or blow your spouse a kiss if you're already married. You also get a legendary weapon, albeit a crappy one, in that area.

I got another bug today. My character got stuck facing to the right while aiming my gun. Afterward, she kept her head and body titled to the right permanently as if she was looking at something in that direction. It was odd.

And I hate going to a specific shop right when they open and then the NPC doesn't go into "shop mode" so I can't buy anything. I basically am forced to leave the area and then come back.

So I really enjoyed the game as a whole, but I'm confused as hell when it comes to the ending.

Could someone please make light of it all for me?

So why exactly did I go into "The Perfect World"? I'm not really sure I understand the significance of that. Also, when I chose "Love" or Family, I got a note from Rose. Does this mean she was counted as one of the loved ones and revived? What was that note all about? Is Theresa evil? GAHHHH So many questions :(

i have tons of those cards but still can't give the kids one.

it's not selectable.

what am i missing on that? also can't gift my baby a toy or give cash to the box in the temple.

I always considered that "The Perfect World" to be like heaven or some kind of afterlife. You get to live the perfect day as opposed to the reality of the beginning of the game. And then when you're running towards the music you're leaving the afterlife and coming back to life. Might I add, hearing Rose scream as you left was pretty upsetting

Thats my take anyway.

You are "gifting" the items through the expression wheel, correct?

Propose to someone in front of it. There is a five star weapon in a chest in there too. I didn't have any real estate at the time and pretty shitty weapons. I was pretty amazed when I walked through the door and I'm like, holy shit, this is all mine?

StranGER said:
?? what? no i was pausing the game cause the thumbpad selection never shows a gift icon.

where in the wheel is it?

It's as sionyboy says. I just wanted to add to make sure you have the appropriate person highlighted by using LT, and make sure you're pretty close to them. As for donating to the light, you should just be able to press 'A' on the small pedestal in the Temple.

My kid is broken :(.
I had the baby before the Spire
, and after the first time I was introduced to him as a boy, then left town and came back, and ever since then he's been broken. He doesn't respond to my expressions or gifts, and they have no effect on his love/hate bar. I can give him a gift and it shows the heart and +number over his head, but the bar doesn't actually change and the gift I gave him is still in my inventory. He doesn't talk, or run up to me when I'm in town like my 2nd child. He's always just at some random spot in town standing there, doing nothing.

This is the one reason I don't like the single save slot system. Yea, it's cool that it forces you to live with the consequences of your decisions, but it really sucks when you run into a seemingly-permanent glitch like this.

I think I'm just about done on my first playthrough. Annoyingly, the choice I made at the end of the main story bugged one of my quests, which was part of a pretty long quest line.

Total time was about 40 hours to get everything done (and I mean everything, every dungeon, every key, every gargoyle, every skill, every house, every quest etc). Next playthrough will be an evil magic using bitch. :D

The Fairfax Castle quest is a bitch. Specifically, the point where you have to hit the orb with a spell, and then shoot it three times between the columns. Am I the only one who finds this impossible?

Good spoiler tag. A+

Hey i dont know if this has been discussed before but I was reading the OXM review and it says about the pub exploit that "Molyneux also admitted that the Fable II Pub Games gold exploit was intentional and that a 'suprise' awaits the cheaters in Fable II."

So what was this so called "suprise"?

Think Tranny.

I'm feeling stupid. I think I might have missed something major. Why are people talking about assigning points to physique, etc?

They affect your character's appearance. Physique make your character bulk up, and one of the Skills makes you taller. I forgot which one.

Heh, didn't realize the gun just auto-targets the orbs if you simply tap the Y button. I finally figured that out.

It's one of the options along with Toughness and another choice for the Strength (blue) orbs.
