Whats that? every doll in the game?

Edit, does anyone know a good source for new expression other than the bower book store?

I need the second last expression to open the bower lake demon door, and i just cannot find the fucking thing anywhere.

couple questions:

does clothes play any part in defense? or is it mostly for good/evil and aesthetics?

Do the spells/skills expand past anything what I can choose from in the beginning or is that it?

Hmm, so Love Hurts seems to be bugged for me. I got the 2nd body part but it keeps sending me back to Twinblade's Tomb and I searched all over the damn Cemetery but can't find the mansion again. Anyone have any suggestions?

Wait, you cant find the mansion? Locate the demon door within the cemetery and their should be a path opposite. The mansion is up there.

Jesus fucking christ...
I cant come in this thread ever again.
Nice knowing ya'll :{

So my wife has just disappeared. Like literally the game will tell me to go back to our home because she wants something or whatever but when I get there she is nowhere to be seen.

I wanted to divorce her anyway so I hadn't been there in a while, but the game showing me as still being married and her not around is annoying.

haha. so i'm finishing up this quest and i'm finally able to enter the building on the left in fairfax gardens and there's this tombstone there that says:

PDM. This is the best grave in history and will change the way people look at final resting forever.

love the humour.

I'm already far in a game. I did the internet games on the fable2.com site to get the 3 extra items, but when I logged out, and logged in again, there was nothing in the chest in the Guild Cave. Ideas?

Anyone>

Just finished the game and all I have to say is wow. I liked Fable but never expected this one to be as good as it was.
The ending though I was a little disappointed with. It's basically the same as the first minus a boss fight which I was really looking forward to. In the end I chose Love since I don't others and I already owned tons property
. There were also a bunch of bugs but given everything the game offers I have no problem overlooking them.

I just have one question though:
Where do I find Rose now?

voltron said:
Is that even possible? If so I really wanna find her too. I want to marry her and have kids if possible.
Dude that is messed up :lol I've been looking for her, but no dice :( There was a quest that said 'reunite with your family', but that just took me to my stupid gypsy stone cutter husband in oakfield. I chose the
love
ending... do you still get the letter when you when you choose one of the other ones?

The brightwood demon door is officially fucked. God this is annoying.
He kept telling me to go away as well, but after some persistance I managed. Try walking up to him in your normal clothes, then as you're close and have him targeted change into the outfit he wants you to wear. If that doesn't work keep turning around and targeting him (so his outline is purple), I think this causes him to acknowledge you.

Cool ill try that.

My problem is not that he notices me. He just keeps looping through 3 phrases when I clearly have all the right shit. It is pissing me off to no end.

Time to have a break and play Dead Space me thinks.

Youd flip if you knew just whos body he is looking for:lol
Since I'm such a nice guy, I left after he revived her...I imagine if you're evil and stick around then she stays in love with you, eh? Poor guy.

How long are the (rent) turns when you're not playing the game? While playing it's 5minutes, but when I turned on the game this morning I only seemed to have gotten 9 turns worth of rent.

There's no "true" answer for this.
As it was a hallucinatory scene one could think you were in a version of what Fable considers the afterlife, and while you had the power to leave because you had a stronger connection to the music player (you lived longer and became ultimately stronger) Rose stayed behind in that "perfect" world. And her letter (conveyed by Theresa the players sister from the first game, who has lost sight but gained other senses probably in communication with the dead and has been corrupted by it as the game hints often) confirms that perfect world survived your leaving it.

i think someone said it was about 30 minutes. haven't counted though.

Yeah you should have stuck around. So did you get to keep the cemetery mansion? I married to
Lady Grey
and we have kids. Its cool cause she seems to have some unique dialog that you dont hear anywhere else.

I'd love to have this happen.

Ah, ok, thanks. I thought I read somewhere the 5m turns were also for when you weren't playing the game. Makes sense.

I'm in the middle of a 3rd playthrough (that will be halted by Fallout 3), but I've run into a really annoying glitch I should warn people about. It's unlikey, but something to watch our for. Very slight spoilers.

On the TOBY sidequest when you're asked to bring him a prostitute, the first one I happened about was my wife. I figure what the hell, I've had enough orgies to not care, so I bring her to him. Problem is she follows me out, and the game says I need to leave the house, but when I do, nothing happens. The quest is now unable to be finished. So, just something to watch out for.

I'd be into this. I have Garth as my game's doll, anyone interested in at least a swap add me, Gamertag: PetriesLastWord

Does she keep doing it even when you tell her to stop following you?

despite its many technical glitches (none major, although slowdown is off putting) this game is pretty epic, so much to do, do wish the world was more open tho, and the animation/floating about is crap (this gen should have sorted that, see uncharted for another bad example, and fifa 08/09 for good examples thanks to foot planting tech)

Nice try Peter. Play Fable more than once to get the 3 different achievements

Well I just got all 3 (Egomaniac, Family, and Sacrifice) on one play through :lol

Lostconfused said:

I went as far as to kill her. The quest is still glitched, to the point where the door to the house won't even close, and the guy isn't in the house any longer. Nothing I have tried will fix it. It's borked.

I got the doll achievement. Some guy was offering it for free so I just joined his game got it and then left.

The thing with these achievements that are like "Or see another hero do so" are you able to share it once you get the achievement to everyone or can you only share when that person when you get that achievement itself.

This would be pretty good... :)

Trying to get people to dislike me is tough. I started pulling out my rifle every time they bothered me but it turns some of them on apparently. Now it's a choice between pooing my pants in front of them or slapping them.

They still love me though. :D

Edit: Hiking up prices on my businesses is doing nicely. My corruption/purity is remaining balanced though.

Just eat a lot of fish if you want to become corrupt. And if you don't bother getting fat, alcohol, and if you do bother, just buy some celery afterwards.

Is it possible to play the childhood with a friend, co-op? Do I miss out much if I just rush through it?

I'm about to start my first game tonight and a friend might want to join in.

I think there's a bug if you play co-op with a friend in childhood. Something like the person who is joining you will lose their experience and abilities when they go back to their game. It is fine to join in when you've reached adulthood, but childhood could be dangerous if the other player wants to hold onto their abilities and so on.

That should be fixed soon though as they've already done the patch for that and the Abbot in Oakfield (and perhaps other issues):

http://kotaku.com/5069294/fable-ii-fixes-on-the-way-missing-le-codes-resolved-tomorrow

We’re keeping a close eye on our forums, while a lot of the issues reported are not issues with the game necessarily, some of them are (like the two examples mentioned in my blog) however and so we’re looking at those, plus some (like the Abbot Quest) have been fixed already. The biggest issue is when people report a show stopping issue on our forums without enough information for us to reproduce it. Regarding the ETA for said patch, there is no news yet.

They seem to be sufficiently pissed off now, but thanks for the advice. I may well use it in the future.

Really gotta love the dynamics with the some of the NPCs. I had this lady in Oakfield that wanted to give me a present but I was confused because the present was on the far left side (evil) of the meter. I was in good standings with pretty much everyone with a halo on my head and all so I couldnt accept the gift. She was married. I found her husband and killed him in front of her and got the present :p.

I'm married to Alex and our house is in the bowerstone market. I just got to bloodstone and out of nowhere I see her walk out of what I guess would be the pub there O_o

When I was married to her she stayed in the pub in Oakfield and always wanted sex.

I am enjoing this game, but I have'nt played such a buggy game since KOTOR: Sith Lords. The rather unpleasent graphic glich I have (you can see it here - View My Video ) is unbearable but most are tolerable. I've yet to get a game breaking bug.
I do have problems with the game.
The camera is poor and your characters movement is floaty and unresponsive.
Aiming and firing with Y feels wrong when there's the Left bumper used for free looking. Why not use that?
Being followed around by adoring villagers makes me want to go on a killing spree as they get in the way and never shut up (and there is some serious repetition in the game).
The environments look beautiful but most of the characters look like they've got typhoid, dysentry and leprosy.
And magic seems ineffectual until it's a high level. One shot with a decent rifle is often better than three blasts with a level 3 fire spell.
In some ways the game is too much like Fable. I wonder how much of the original game was re-used and regurgitated for Fable II as it has many of the same flaws.
Still, it is a good game. now if only that graphic problem could be sorted.
