Official Fable II Thread

Figured out the sleep bug, apparently you cannot rest if in the middle of a primary quest (wtf?)

Thankfully the game rocks as my PC just blew up last night so WAR is off the table :lol

I'm hoping that the install to HDD option will make the menu's more faster/fluid. That is my biggest gripe with the game

/fingers crossed I get accepted to NXE beta

God damn but I am living the life of simple nobility.

My dog, Nacho. My little baby girl, Kit. My wife, Alex. I work some nights at the Blacksmith, some nights at the Bar. I rent out a little Gypsy cart down south and an apartment building in the Bowerton Market. I've got a little Pie Stand there too.

Ben The Dog Lover. The Change We Need.

There are not enough Lost references in your game. Please fix this.

You know what needs to be fixed? The game ending bug this game has that nailed me last night. Screw this stupid game. The wife is going to let me get something else this morning so I stop whining. Fable 2 was sweet for ten hours. Now it is the absolute suck until they fix it.

Just finished the main quest of the game. Amazing experience, favorite game this gen so far. Still have more quests to wrap up before it's completely done.

As for seasons: I could be wrong but while there are different seasons, I'm pretty sure they're just tied to where you are in the main story. I don't think seasons change with time passed in the game.

Halp guys. The NPC Like/Dislike meter is stuck on the top of the screen! I managed to get rid of it once before, but its not going away this time.
edit: oh thank god its gone

wow at the
crucible
quest. I went from weakling to absurd power...with level 4 shock. I'll tell you drop a level 3 raise the dead to distract and unleash the awesome power of level 4 shock :)

Loving this game, sucked in completely. I guess I need to quit for now to pack and get ready for my flight

See, that sounds great. You can name your wife, too?

Can someone tell me why my child is black? i can't imagine that my wife cheated on me since she has constantly been in love with me since we married.

Oh by the way, the Normanmancer Quest?

Nice little preview of Left4Dead.

;D

Yeah I loved it, "Clatoo, Vertata, nick, cough too cough, tie, cough, toe!!

Just done an area and about to start the next stage of the main quest but I can not understant how much of a love afair I am having with this game, I hoped to really like it but the amount I do is really unexepected.

Gotta a tonne to play but not touching anything till Fables done and any free second I can I'm playing it.

Cheers for the gifts to all the gaffers who I have crossed paths with on the way.

So is there any way to get rid of scars?

You can prevent them by having a resurrection phial, but no solid confirmed way of removing them, afaik. I've have heard some say they got rid of them by becoming purer but they may have confused it for something else that happened to them.

So, do you need your wife for any quests late in the game. My wife glitched (disappeared), after I did the Spire quest!... My son stays in the same spot as the cradle and doesn't do anything!?

You didn't play co-op with a black man did you?

Post crucible:
Got back from the spire and I'm relieved to find that my wife hasn't had a child... relieved mostly because I never screwed her before I went away! Little annoyed that I didn't get 10 years worth of money from my businesses though!
:D

It appears that going through the Brightwood/Chesty quest rejuvenates you, either by coincidence or intent. No one seems to know if it is a design bonus or a glitch.

Hello,

I know this is sad.

But can I have sex with others even if I'm married with someone else (and had a kid)? And why won't they have sex with me? I'm constanly trying to flirt with them it just always ends up with them wanting to marry me. I just want care-free protected sex!

You need to find people of dubious morality. There's plenty out there. :lol

You need to look for people with unchaste listed as a personality trait.

Since I completed the Crucible women are throwing themselves at me, wish I hadn't moved the wife into Bowerstone now!

Have to get her back out to Gypsy town :lol

You are talking about the game right?

Where's the Tomb of Archon? Do I have to be passed a certain story part in the game to access it? Here's where I'm at in the main storyline:
I'm currently on The Spire

Got it yesterday and lost track of time while playing, absolutely love it. One question though, can you have multiple save files, or are you forced to overwrite everyhting if yo ustart a new game?

Aside from a few technical issues (slowdown, pop-up, loading, all of which shoudl be addressed when we can instal lthe game to the HDD after the new XBL I pressume)

Can someone PLEASE tell me where I can get a fucking mutton chop? I see mutton cutlets out the ass, but no chops.

This is in reference to the Brightwood Demon door's requests. He is also said I needed dreadlocks, so I got them. Now when I go to the door to hear what he said at my previous visit to double check the requirements, he says something different. He says I must also have the correct facial hair, but doesn't specify what. Anyone know what it is? Also, does anyone know what might be considered clothes a "cheese bearer" would wear?

Well, this game is fucking awesome, I had a glitch where my first wife disappeared after I did the spire quest, I was in
Bloodstone
and I got a letter "Blackmail"(probably because I decided to do the swinger achievement after it glitched) that said I had to come to Bowerstone and pay 5000 gold. Well, I go there and finely she appeared again and divorced me so I killed her right there!!!Now I have only one family I care about at the Serenity Farm! AWESOME!

ummm, so I just played like 4 hours last night and now when I try to load my save it gives me about 15 seconds of freedom and the completely locks up the game and console. anyone else experienced this/ know of a fix???

Beat it a couple of hours ago. It was good, but I'm pissed at how mine ended.

I last my doggy. No one to dig up treasure for me anymore. =*( I hope I got all the silver keys that need to be dug up, and now I can't do the archeology quest line.

I was being a good guy, but had a little while to spare while I waited for the Blacksmith to open.

Before I know it I've killed 30 people and unlocked the 100% evil achievement. My guy now has pale white skin and glowing eyes.

I'm going to see if I can try and bring him all the way back to Good again.

fucking weird, I ended up having to quickly load my game and resave it, reload it and run to another area and resave it. it was also taking hella long for a lot of decoration to load in. maybe my xbox is to blame :(

gah! this is the buggiest game I think I've ever played!!

locked up on me a few times, and things constantly burn into the screen!

It currently says on top "Buy more furniture from the furniture shop if you want to update that item" of my screen for the past hour! And I've shut down and restarted like 4 times!!

Any suggestions on how to get this to vanish or am i stuck with that the whole game?
I'm too far to want to start over already :(

So I bought two of the same weapon so I can put in a different augment in each depending on the situation. But when I have one equipped and I go to the weapons menu, both are highlighted as if they are equipped and it won't let me use the 2nd version of the weapon I bought/augmented. Very annoying.

The game is amazing (aside from the disappointing co-op) but the amount of bugs in this game is unacceptable.

So the game DOES have seasons? Nice. All four? Are they tied to your progression in the main quest or do they just pass when enough time has gone by?

Yes there are definitely, absolutely season changes, but I have only progressed to Fall and that happened after
The Spire
. And I've since beaten the game and it hasn't change yet. So I have no idea what the criteria is for them to change.

Anyone know?

No doubt in the half hour since I asked that question a heap of people saw it knowing the answer but chose not to bother replying. Fuck them, you want something done you have to do it for yourself.

Well, posting at 4:30AM US West Coast time tends to do that. :D

I'm 4 hours of awesomeness gaming in and have had no bugs, i'm I lucky or do the bugs show up later?

I'm 18 hours in and haven't run into a single glitch or crash or anything outside of my dog hovering once (oh and he turns green from time to time.)

After coming from Mass Effect this is a revelation. :D

Only bug I've really encountered is my breadcrumb trail got confused once, and kept telling me to go the opposite way, but I stood still and it sorted itself out.

As much as I enjoyed the game I was looking forward to beating it and then unlocking everything I missed later on.. turns out I can't because I was too stupid to realize I wouldn't get my dog back

we really need to be able to eventually choose all 3 wishes.. if I beat the game and I want to continue playing why should it be so restricting?

I'm at the end of the game, can someone tell me the differences that occur in the world if you choose
Sacrifice or Love. I want the dog back, but does the sacrifice option open any thing new up
?
