Yea, that's the point really. Everyone is in the same boat so it kinda evens things up. Plus, as Slizz mentioned you get about a week to learn about your team anyway.

I just landed I'll go through all this later. Thanks a lot TF53 for keeping track of things.

Teams were chosen to make people play with more unknown not used often teams. If that offends someone they are welcome to not play. If people are active, there will be more leagues created after this one.

I think 2 games a week should be good to start with. We are probably looking at beginning next weekend.

Knee and Kaizoku are welcome in the league, but yes, we do need them to pick teams so we can get this going.

Thanks all for helping out while I was gone.

Good games, I still have to learn how to time to manual crosses and through balls, had a lot of trouble with those. Lots of my attempted crosses went right at the goalie (and that second goal in the first game was not intentional :lol )

I was just like "FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU" after that second goal. It was so absurd. I really need to work on getting up the pitch to create chances.

Man, I just missed out. I play with random 3.5 teams online all the time just for the opportunity to beat a kid playing as Real Madrid. Oh well, just another reason to start checking NeoGAF more often. lol

the one thing i would highly recommend is that if you are thinking of joining be someone who is subscribed to this thread and who checks it at least every couple days, if not daily. don't be one of those people who doesn't post for a month or who every one of your opponents has to PM you and hunt you down

Must I pick from one of those three? I was actually thinking of picking Sochaux or Sao Paulo or Santos, but I can't remember if Santos or Sao Paulo are 3.5 Stars.

hellz yeah. i have pretty much the same availability as denog. any time after 9est weeknights. flexible on weekends except the 7-midnight period usually.

sneaky are you going to whip up a schedule?

-i think we should do two games a week, first game due wednesday by 9 pm est, second game due saturday by 9.
-are we keeping track of stats? i haven't checked but do online games list assists now? if do we can develop a format for posting where you post result, goals, and assists and we keep track of goal and assist leaders.
-anyone else has any thoughts speak your piece before we start!

Personally, the only stats I care about is wins/losses. The idea of entering stats after games just makes me think of the tedium of League Daddy. *shudder*

it would be pretty simple and a good way to keep track of your own team performance since there will be no other persistence. and you'd only have to do it when you win, so we're talking maybe 2m a week

I like keeping stats. It only takes a minute after the game and it lets me know who I need to watch out for when I play someone. :D

I will whip out a schedule. I will try to get most of that ready this evening when I get home. 2 games a week is the rule. No deadlines though, as long as you get both games in the time is cool. We all have different schedules, and I know with my crazy ass schedule it may get complicated some weeks to get it done by wednesday 9pm or whatever.

We will keep track of goals. I am not sure if the game keeps track of who did the assist, if it does it would be no issue to keep track of that.

Is google docs the best option? opinions? experiences?

I will post the final set of rules and first week of games later tonight..
