I know how to spell BETTER eznark. I just like hot dogs is all. I have never heard of Better Cheddars either. I was actually wondering why they didn't show up in google when I searched Better Cheddar. I didn't know they spelled it that way, what's up with that?

I wanted to draft Alan Fancher and his 99 ELU rating but Crow stole him out from under me in that round, so I took Greenwood.

I think his game had more to do with the new offensive line pieces than Greenwood himself. We'll see against Ramirez.
He stole him because I stole Cooper from him lol

I hated the draft this year. I didn't get who I wanted in the first round and then the people I wanted in the 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th round were all taken in the first round. Maybe not the fourth, I can't remember now

Yea my draft board went to shit by pick five. Cooper is going to work out great for me and Boyce the TE.

Cox my speed rusher is going to be a steal for me.

I did ok especially when my board went to shit.

Since I'm the commish now I'm making some rules for the draft next year.

1. You can't pick a guy for the draft unless he's within two rounds of his projected round.
2. You can't pick the guys I want.

I'm going to let the CPU draft for me again. Now that I know how the system works, I'll use it to my advantage.

I'm going to let the CPU draft for me because I don't have the time or inclination to go to the dark corners of the internet and find the spreadsheets that detail the stats of all the players so I know which projected UDFA is actually going to be the next Aaron Rodgers.

The CPU will do that for you. CPU doesn't draft busts. But you need to guide the CPU to the positions you are looking for.

Actually, the great WR I took was skipped by the spreadsheet guys because of speed. Too bad he's awesome! My starting CBs are 88 and 87 speed. My starting WRs are 86 and 88 speed. I don't give a shit!

Wait till you play Crow. Looks like he is molding his team to his preference after the first off season. I have no idea who his WR was who torched my D on 6 catches for 130 yards, but he was fast! Also, I notice he is using a new RB too but I stuffed him.

I used excel an did ok!

The projection argument is stupid. Would NFL execs listen to Mel Kiper and Todd McShay on who they should draft based off projections?

You see a lot of guys who are projected to go on day two end up in the first round? Have you ever seen it?

No, because Ted Thompson can't jump onto reddit and find out what the stats are for Jim Shitarm five years into the future.

I assume Sok's suggestion was to curb cheating, not because he thought the projections were infallible.

I think Jim's name is a clue.

CB just knows how to beat me when everything looks like its going my way. I mean for fuck sakes, 6 turnovers and I can't do shit.

People value different things, that's the bottom line. You guys in the middle of the 1st passed up some insane DE's, they weren't projected high in some cases. You can just boost Block shed and watch them maul tackles, because their speed is just too much.

I took a 63 rated OLB with awareness in the 50s and turned him into a 15 sack probowler. Don't care about projections when you have traits I'm looking for. There are certain traits you just can't boost and sometimes you have to reach.

I didn't pass up anyone. I let the CPU pick once it was apparent that people were using outside tools to value players.

For OL no one should care if they have Normal/Quick/Superstar development, it's really easy to develop OL as far as I'm concerned. So you should see less reaching at that position, unless the person is dead set on nabbing documented players.

It's a fact that guys used documented draft lists to make choices, but the best tool is the scouting tools you have.

For example, I discarded a TE because of his route running, put him lower on my list. Wellie informed me during the draft that he had excellent speed, I never got his raw speed number. As soon as I found out his speed I took him during that round, even though I had him below another TE. You can still find gems, but you need to have enough scouting points to really attack the draft.

gg cb. I can't believe that even happened. I had 5 interceptions and a fumble recovered... but I got sacked TEN times. Unbelievable. I can't lose these games if I want to be in the playoffs.

Also, your slot receiver has an awareness rating of 25. THe offensive lineman number and no face mask should give that away pretty easily.

I edited him to look like that when I was drunk one night :lol

He's #69 with an oldschool helmet!

He was catching mad balls in practice and in the game against Ferny. But today the looked like complete shit! I think he had like 3-4 drops for first downs.

Edit: but I am pissed. My line got man handled. I couldn't even move with RGIII since your ends were already shedding blocks.
